Seasoned Tanners Product
Its my fav product once you have a good tan really oily good for the skin but holds no protection so care on lighter skin smells lush and moisturisers well no good if you dont like tge feel of oil but i do prefer it to dry oil

been looking for this for a long time
For years I have been looking for the summer smell or something like the scent I remember from my childhood. The original smell of Ambre Solaire sun oil which my mum used in the late sixties and used to put on us as kids. I purchased Ambre Solaire from boots some time back thinking it would smell the same or similar but was disappointed by the the awful chemical smell and binned it. ever since i have been on a quest to find the smell i craved from my childhood to the point of considering writing to Garnier to see if they could provide some idea to the ingredients providing the scent of the original tanning oil..... miraculously i saw this pop up on amazon when i wasn't looking for it and was happy to see 'original scent' included in the description. I ordered immediately and it showed up in good time as it came from Italy... Thank you Italy !!!! i opened the bottle ASAP and smelled... the smell was not quite as i remembered but realistically i expected something may have been lost over time as it was a long time ago since the sixties and some ingredients may not be 'allowed' anymore but i applied after my shower and later in the day...voila! the scent which i remember came through and i am happy as can be. there is no SPF but i don't care. i will be ordering lots more.

Fragrance is not the same. It isn’t nice.
I don’t buy this Amber solaire product because it protects from the sun, it’s only factor 2, so it doesn’t protect at all. I buy it to use with my higher SPF because it had that Amber Solaire fragrance that it was known for. Sadly it has been changed, it now smells very chemical and unless I can buy one with the old aroma, I won’t be buying it anymore. This was a proper summer smell and now it’s gone. 🙁 Come on Amber Solaire, if you can still sell factor 2, then bring back the original fragrance. Please!
