These are very easy to use and they are a great size for me the but is that they don't really get that hot, my friend struggled to have any useful effect from them but on my very fine hair they worked well and I got my desired effect simply.I guess it just depends on if your hair needs a lot of heat or not as to if these will work for you!

Not powerful enough to straighten hair

I found these straighteners to be ineffective on my hair. I do have straight hair anyway but it looks so much better than once I've straightened it.Even on the highest setting these struggles with my hair. I suspect they may be designed for people with short fine hair.They are easy to use and they have a convenient lock button that keeps them closed.They charge up using a USB cable that is supplied.Once you have switched them on you can choose the heat setting from a lower one to high.They heat up very quickly, but unfortunately even on the highest setting they would not straighten or curl my hair, so for me they would not offer good value for money.

I have another one of these from another brand and they're really all the same thing.They're not as powerful as a mains powered one by FAR, they take much longer to use to get the style you're after and your hair also doesn't stay that shape for as long either. It's like using a mains powered one at 110 degrees, so if you want a lasting style, you need to go really really slowly.HOWEVER, if you're somewhere offgrid without power (like a festival or backpacking), this really is the next best thing. You get about 20 minutes of use on the highest setting, then you'll need to recharge it from a battery bank, or just bring a couple of them along. Remember it takes 3-4 minutes to really heat up, which you have to include in those 20 mins of power.It has a lock on it which is nice, and it has 2 heat settings. It's a bit confusing, on the highest setting the LED turns red which I thought meant it was low on power, but actually that's just the colour of the LED.

I ordered these straighteners to take camping as my daughter likes me to straighteners her hair, having no access to electricity obviously was an issue previously.The straighteners are compact, lightweight, easy to use, and most importantly are cordless/rechargeable. They work well, although the style doesn't seem to last as long as mains powered straighteners, so you may need to quickly top up part way through the day.Overall however for my requirements they are really handy, they seem to keep enough charge for several styling sessions, they are easy to use, and work well, so I am happy to recommend them.
