Great design, even better customer service
Love the product, especially the stand-off mounting. Keeps me from raking the knee of my Pfanner pants with the tip of my saw. But even better is the Notch/Sherrill Tree customer service. After 1'st full day of work with the Talon, top rubber strap had broken. Notch sent me a complementary replacement. Product has a lifetime warranty, fyi.

A leg shield !!!
More than anything this turns my silky zubat into the thing my chainsaw gets to hit instead of my leg. The hard plastic is light enough to not be a problem while strong enough to save you from a disengaged chainsaw chain .

Leg scabbard
Like the idea and function of a leg scabard but the Velcro is too fussy and gets caught on itself. I wish the straps were a better quality.Arborist Blair Glenn on YouTube

Good product but the rubber straps are junk.
This product works well but the rubber straps are complete junk. They broke like rotted diving mask rubber straps almost instantly. Instead I used nylon tie wraps.

This will break on you
Worst product of this type on the market. The first one showed up damaged and the replacement broke before I could use it. The rubber straps that hold the sheath to the talon are garbage. Do not buy this product
