Amazingly robust charge controller
I got this charge controller for a large boat and boy did it not disappoint. The high humidity and high temperatures on a boat can really eat at your electronics so I needed something that can withstand this. Out of the box I was impressed with its construction: the device is very sturdy and robust. It's made out of metal, is somewhat heavy and feels commercial-grade heavy duty. I like the self-cooling feature which is a must in my high-heat environment.Installation was easy, just plug and play: I connected it to the solar panel cables and the battery cables using only a screwdriver. I use it for a 12V setup and it did very well. 60A is a little more than I needed for now but it made the device future-proof for me in case I'll be adding more solar panels or higher-powered solar panels in the future. I also like that it comes with the battery temperature sensor which makes it possible to track the temperature on lithium batteries and prevent overheating. Those batteries are not cheap and marketed for 10+yrs so having this safety definitely helps expand their lifespan.Potential con is that the charger is a little bit bigger and heavier than the lower-powered MPPT charge controllers (like the Rover), though not terribly so. I found it easy to install on a boat where space is tight. The charger is in fact built mostly for larger off-grid setups like RVs so the added size is expected. I can also see how this could easily supply an off-grid cabin, it's just that powerful. The LCD screen controls on the device are very intuitive and self-explanatory, there's barely any learning curve. The screen is big and easily visible which is a big advantage for me since I like to monitor my devices remotely. Pro tip for viewing the status of the device from anywhere, you can install a simple residential-grade battery powered wifi/LTE camera facing the screen of this device so you can monitor the charging status from anywhere (that's what I did).Overall, highly recommend this MPPT charge controller for any application where you need a lot of power and the conditions are harsh. With a 2 year warranty, you really can't go wrong. Hopefully I can get much more and many happy years out of it.

150v/60a MPPT controller
Instructions easy to follow, using with 900 w of solar, solid all metal construction, works way better than their 40a rover

Don't use the LOAD terminals for any real load
I bought this product thinking I could use the 'LOAD" terminals to power all of my load and also monitor usage with the device itself all-in-one. However, if you put any kind of load on the "LOAD" terminals I just get an "E04" error. When I called customer service they said that the power for the load terminals comes from the PV panels, not from battery power. So I have a separate meter for outgoing power now. Just be aware. Rest of the product is great so far - just putting together a system and testing it right now while more parts come in.
