Just received my first box of Yulu boba kits and couldn't wait to try a kit. Used a microwave to make two ounces of hot water, mixed the taro milk tea powder in and added 1 cup of ice chips. Then added 1 tsp of water of a brown sugar boba package and zapped for 30 seconds. Added to the milk tea and enjoyed. The cost was about $2.00 for something which would cost $7 in the boba tea shops here. I look forward to trying the strawberry tomorrow.

Finishing my last one now - from ny and spoiled - this is great for at home boba. I would say they are about the same or step or two down from the Trader Joe’s frozen brown sugar ones (they had a year or so ago I need to go back). Would definitely order these again fun as a gift too

The only reason why I give it 4 stars is because the straws are not plastic they are paper but the boba and flavor are 10/10

My kids love the flavor specially the taro. Easy to do and nice drink.

I was skeptical about buying these at first, but was extremely surprised overall. They were fairly easy to make, including the boba (which you can prepare over the stove or microwave - I chose microwave and it was super fast) and they tasted great! The packet size portioning is perfect, the quality of the milk tea is great, and for the price you pay, you are definitely getting a great product for a great price! I would highly recommend this kit to any boba tea lovers out there looking to have some ready to make at home or to save some money.

For being instant, it’s ok. It has that instant creamy taste and it’s pretty sweet. I would recommend adding black tea or oolong tea to help offset the “instant” taste and sweetness. Possibly add more milk/water than the instructions state.For the boba, I recommend preparing it last because the pearls will stick together if not removed from the plastic baggy promptly after heating. It will be hot!It comes with paper straws. I understand that’s more earth friendly, but it also means that it’s not a casual sipping beverage.
