Great buy. I think it’s a beautiful sofa, but a little on the cheap side- obvi, it’s Amazon. It’s not like you just dropped 2k on a sturdy sofa from Anthropology. It is very similar to a Wayfair purchase.I wish the total price was around $398 without the $98 shipping but its still a good sofa for what we paid, quality fabric. Get the velvet, it’s beautiful! Cushions are firm but not rock hard. It is mid century style so do not expect a fluffy cloud to sit on. Although it is cozy for me, you’re paying for aesthetics when you go the mid-mod route, not fluffy comfort. Also this came in two separate days! It has 3 LARGE boxes total and the legs and hardware/pillows are under the base inside a zipper compartment. Anyway, hope this review helps.I assembled this solo as well.*

This assembly would be a bit easier if you had two people, but it is definitely doable with one person. I was able to put this together in about 10 min and I'm no handy woman. I'd also like to add that one of the reviewer's pointed out something very major, the seating cushions have a zipper on the underside which contains the back cushion and side pillows - along with the legs. The couch will come in three separate packages, and I would certainly wait for all of them to arrive before assembly. My packages arrived sooner than expected and were in great shape. I may have thrown the instructions away, but I honestly did not see them. However, I also did not need them. If you end up misplacing them like I did, just set the pieces together how you think it would go before assembling and you can find which pieces may need switched.When the screws come in to play, you may need to separate the two cushions and not push them together - in order for the screws to go in properly. A little bit of fiddling with that part of the assembly and really that's all it takes.Also - If you know anything about velvet couches, you will know that they are not typically couches that you would sink into. They are known for their firmness. So, some of the reviews seem a little silly to me. If you do not prefer a firm couch, then velvet is likely not for you. You'd probably enjoy a suede couch. I think this is a great addition to my home, and it has a very luxurious look. the green color I chose is exactly as depicted in the pictures provided! This item is well priced and I can't get over how beautiful it looks

I received this 2 months ago.It was fine all summer. Now the seat cushions are sunken in and look wrinkly the backrest is also sunken in where you rest your neck on the back of the sofa. And every time I get up from the couch and touch touch the seat if my hands touch the seat I get shocks that go through my fingers up through my hand. With that said I highly recommend that you don't buy this couch and I am retracting my good review below.It's stylish, comfy, high quality for a couch in 3 boxes. It takes a few tries to o fit 2nd arm on in metal slot. Was difficult to see that part but worth it when it finally went in. 2 people struggling for a bit the rest was easy to assemble it's a great couch. Sturdy and looks great

Shipping was very fast. It came in three boxes on two different days but the seller was very nice and gave me another tracking number for the second order because I didn’t look at the instructions first and see that this is very normal. The fabric of the couch is nice looking and feeling. My cat doesn’t seem to leave any marks from his claws and his hair just wipes off. It’s deep enough to lounge on but firm enough that its comfortable to sit upright in too. My only reason for the 4 stars is the side bracket that attaches the back to the arm was installed so deep on one side that they don’t meet to slide into each other. We were able to make it work but it’s not as sturdy now. Otherwise I love everything else about it and would definitely buy again.

The couch has pieces that slide into each other to hold the couch together. One of these pieces was missing. I screwed the the couch together where the piece was missing. The color was exactly as pictured. The velvet is soft. It's not the most comfortable but I love the style.

I am so pleased with this couch for the price. I’m sure it’s not the most durable for pets or kids, but it’s beautiful, comfortable, and it was very easy to put together. The cushions seem to have different amounts of softness for some reason but I could definitely sleep on this.

This couch is really easy to care for in a house with a baby, toddler, and teenagers. The material is very soft and warm and wipes off easily. It also looks amazing in my minimalist living room. One of my concerns with this kind of material was having seat cushions that would slide forward. No worries there because they are permanently attached to the base.I wanted to leave a negative review because of two pieces that wouldn't fit together due to bracket placement, but the seller made it very hard to stay upset. They were easy to work with to find a solution that didn't require I box up and return an entire couch. The defective part was replaced without a need to send anything back. The seller went above and beyond to make it right. Everything goes together seamlessly and it looks great!I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend to friends and family.

Update:I don't know how it's possible but I've got a 2months kitten and this sofa is..magic!!!! I mean.. no scratches!! and he goes up and down like crazy!! I love it!!!!!! thank you again guys!!!Not so easy to assemble in one person but I did it!!It's beautiful!! Maybe the sit is a little hard but I think because it's new!! I love it! It looks durable and the leather effect is very classy!
