Inexpensive, easy to set up and use. My turtle loves it! Generates a good amount of heat. I turn it down during the day because my turtle will move away when she gets too hot.My turtle became sick and the vet is making me put her in a tub in the house (she normally lives in an outside pond). This light came quickly and required no set up. It clips to the side of her hospital tub and she loves basking under it. The vet said that she needed heat and UV, so this fit the bill perfectly without any complicated set up.She’s healing slowly but we’ll need to keep her here for many weeks. The easy clip on and off of the lights is important as we need to unclip it to give her daily water changes.

The media could not be loaded. It definitely creates heat and he loves it although its bulbs aren’t the twist on type it just plugs in like an outlet :) & it comes with an extra pair of bulbs! I love that theirs two of them and you can bend them every which way, you HAVE to be careful though because it does get EXTREMELY hot (obviously). I was concerned on how hot it gets because the first time I plugged it in it began to smell like a burnt curling iron LUCKILY you’re able to turn the heat up and down to your turtles liking , so I’ve just turned down the heat and seems to fix the smell a bit. OH I do REALLY REALLLYYY REALLYYY love that it comes with a TIMER SWITCH! 2hr, 4hr , & 8hr are the options and then it turns it self off. Same

Works well for my small mourning gecko tank. I cannot adjust the dual bulbs to the best places they love to bask. I won’t use the red bulbs but works great for day time. And that’s usually where you can catch the babies chilling out is on the glass right next to it.

Exposed power wires sticking out of the clip area where you squeeze it to put light onto tank the outer light covers get extremely hot very quickly very easy to burn yourself which I did within minutes of setting it up and trying to position. The intensity of light is also very weak on highest setting so far this light is disappointing not only in function but design and definitely major safety and potential for electrocution and or fire

Was supposed to receive 2 white and 2 red bulbs. Only received 2 red.

Our tortoise loves them. A bit smaller than I thought, but works great!
