Power supply unit excellent, no downside. Does not overheat. It successfully work my Lenovo P330 Tiny with 64GB RAM and a T600 graphics card. Definitely recommended!

I ordered this on the 6th and arrived on the 7th. I tested it today and was working fine until suddenly I see a spark in front of me and then a sudden smell of smoke, all the upstairs electric sockets stopped working. I assume the battery exploded since it now no longer works and was extremely hot upon touching it. I will be contacting Amazon about this to request a refund as this was a very scary and dangerous situation and it could have potentionally caused more damage had I not been aware.

This charger has the distinct squarish tip with a yellow rim on the end of it. I'm not sure if this design tip is exclusive to Lenovo machines, but it's definitely only the Lenovo devices that I've ever seen these on. The charger provides plenty of power with its 300W output, ensuring my laptop stays charged during my intensive gaming sessions as it's definitely then when I notice my battery drain a lot quicker than normal. With this plugged into my machine I no longer have to worry about interruptions from losing power.This is specifically designed for the more power-hungry models like the Legion 7 or 5 Pro, but it works on all the other Lenovo models that require less power as it has the same connector as those. The charger is relatively compact in relation to the amount of power it outputs, but it's still a lot bulkier than standard laptop adapters. For me this adapter is just too wide which makes it awkward when taking away with you on your travels.The reason why I'm taking away a star from the review is not because of it's bulkiness, but because of it's really high price. I know this is outputting 3 times as much wattage than a standard power adapter might be, but it's still too expensive even after taking that into account and they really need to bring it in under £50.

This is a monster power supply. 300W by deliverying 20v at 15amps. It is unusually wide and flat, which I guess helps with heat disipation when running at full tilt. Unusually it doesn't use the clover leaf style mains connector, but the type you normally see on desktop computers. It is big and heavy, which is totally understandable given the power output.While it is rated at 300W it can always supply less, so if you need 200W then this will do just fine too.... it'll just be a bit bigger and heavier. It includes a strap to tidy up the DC power cable. The finish is good, it feels solid and durable.

DO NOT BUY! not even close to the quality of the original Lenovo charger. It’s flimsy, poor build quality and stopped working completely after 20 mins. In my opinion it is also not safe to use and poses a fire risk hazard or at least damage to your laptop! AVOID and just pay the money for an original part from Lenovo!!

This 300W charger is a suitable replacement for the Lenovo laptop I tested, although in theory I can't see why it is limited to this brand or range. It charges efficiently and fits securely into the charging port. The build quality seems solid, though the size of the adapter is slightly bulky. A dependable power supply for gaming laptops requiring high wattage.
