The C*ck Down the Block (The Cocky Kingmans Book 1)

One of the most adorable sports romances I have read in a while. It's friends to lover romance but acknowledges how women might feel when a friend wants something romantic. The discussions on fatphobia, body acceptance and fighting hypocritical pervs is the best part of the book. The male MC Chris is peak man written by a woman vibes, and Trixie is someone who should inspire all women struggling with self confidence. The way Chris woos Trixie is the stuff of dreams and I love how the third act conflict was around then and not between them. Also, lots of love to Luke Skyc*cker the rooster with character

I always find one word in how a book made me feel and wholesome is a word for this one.This book was so funny, it made me laugh and giggle. I loved the bond between Chris and Trixie both when they were friends and then to lovers, it flowed so beautifully. The Kingsmans family was something else, and I can't wait to read the next books in the series. Also, Trixies friendships are so beautiful. The book overall touches on so many aspects, and in a way it was healing to my teenage self. The book talks about sex and body positivity and the plus size rep really made me seen also, special mention to the Luke Skycocker who was an integral part of this book along with his hens.

So funny!!! And extremely uplifting with the messages Ms. Award writes into the story line. I think all women need to read this book.Standing up for ourselves and not letting the negative people get their way is super important in self care.Great work, Amy!!

Truly it had everything. Spice, sex positivity, body positivity, banter, hilarious animals with arguably the best names ever, supportive family and romance. This was so good. I loved the title and cover and had no idea the level to which I’d love this. I adore this group of characters. I am so glad there’s already more to devour.

This is a hilarious book for me with so much cozy, happy vibes! It gets through the plot comfortably, without over focus on outside of the relationship (ie over focus on the sports side).Both main characters ans side characters are so wholesome and fleshed out. I am so excited foe the next 3 books in the series! Hopefully she'll do all the siblings HEA!This is top of my re reads and I will recommend it to anyone needing a HEA spicy story2 out of 3 spice for me. Perfectly detailed to make me blush but not too much to put me off the descriptions.
