Good results and a great value
I have only used this once so far, and the results were excellent. I used it for putting down exterior water-based paint, and it worked fine. I had to thin the paint down quite a bit in an effort to reduce the splatter which was improved but still present after thinning. I did not want to thin too much, as this will degrade the paint if you use too much water. But after a few passes with the sprayer, the paint coat is nice and flat, and after the paint dries it looks fine (no splatter marks). The lower spray pressure does not aerosol the paint like other sprayers, so a big advantage to this is much less overspray floating everywhere. I just held up a piece of cardboard to shield areas while painting. I did not use any masking tape, but I will likely have to use some if painting in tight quarters. I also ordered some "Flotrol" which I will use to thin the paint next. I have read that it will reduce the spatter and make the paint spray better with less water thinning. Note that the results were fine without this, I ordered the Flotrol as a test to see the results. The Flotrol will also lengthen the drying time and make the paint more likely to run on vertical surfaces. The device itself seems to me to have well-made components that fit together nicely. For the cost I am very happy. This sprayer will really save time, especially when paining intricate surfaces or harder to reach areas (compared to a brush). The instruction manual also covers all the basics and is easy to follow. I am going to stain and seal an outdoor deck next. Recommended.

No cords. Sprays good.
Used this to spray an oil finish on exposed wood posts. Worked great. No cords. Went through a battery per gallon of oil. There is a tradeoff on weight and size of container to hold paint/oil. Had to refill often but when painting overhead the lighter weight and easy use on a ladder were worth it. Easy cleanup. Only used for this one application.

Doesn't work
This thing doesn't work. Tried all the tips, checked the viscosity and everything, and can never get more than a pathetic sputter. Not worth the money, as we ended up having to go to the hardware store and just buy paint rollers. Garbage.

Great Value!
Works great! You have to mix (thin) your paint and dial it in but that's true for any sprayer. Love that is works with my Dewalt batteries!

Works well
Super easy it is to use. It’s perfect for quick projects like painting fences, cabinets, and even walls. The fact that it’s cordless gives you a lot of flexibility, and it works with the Dewalt 20V battery (just note, it’s not included). I liked the 3 different spray patterns, which gave me good control depending on the surface I was working on. The 1200ML container holds a decent amount of paint, so I didn’t have to refill too often. Cleanup was surprisingly easy, which is a big plus. Overall, a solid tool for DIY painting tasks!

A little wimpy.
I used this yesterday and the night before. I happened to be doing a ceiling. This gets heavy pretty quick. I went through 2 batteries without finishing. This may be ok for small jobs. When I pulled out the corded sprayer, it blew this one away

Not good for clearcoat
Either overcoated or added bubbles to the clear coat. Had to go over with a brush so not worth it

Worked great
I used this for tanning solution and it worked great. The fine tip sprayer nozzle is the one I ended up using. It is balanced very nice even with the bigger battery. All the accessories are a nice addition and it is real nice to be able to clean it with the nozzle adapter. It is a very easy to use system and will be a great addition to my spray tan business
