I do a lot of mountain biking, and while I am on trails and fire roads much of the time, I also spend a fair bit of time riding on main roads, even highways. As such, one thing that's not wise or "best case" is to have to look over your shoulder for traffic, when the portion you have is only about 2ft wide, and cars are passing by at 60mph. As such, I ordered this little rear-view mirror, and it has worked out wonderfully.I will state up front, the arms are short. You won't be able to use this as you might an old school, childhood style rear view mirror. You know, the one that was wider than your shoulders, round and convex, allowing you to see all the world behind you. No, this is a small, wonderfully adjustable mirror, with a small arm and profile.For me, the way I have found success in use is to position it such that the profile is vertical, and the image shows me the gap between my torso and arm. I can look down the center, and it shows me just enough of the road behind me to let me know if there is a car coming. Perfect.At the same time, as it is low profile, it doesn't get in the way of my trail riding, nor is it in my standard viewing window, that it would be annoying. Further, the tension in the mount is excellent. Easy enough to maneuver, and yet "sticky" enough to stay where I put it, even under some fairly aggressive road static. Large bumps will displace it, but for the most part, it stays put.Solid item, and I do recommend it.

The all body and armsSeem to be made sturdy durable rigid plastic. The anti glare mirror prerforma as expected the much clearing and brilliance.I appreciate the design and the wow factor is presents. Installation was an extremely easy. Adjusting is simple and has a nice durable hold. No drifting.The price is fair and overall design, functional, and build quality very well done.A great product to recommend. I hope I didn't jinx myself and crash. Thank goodness replacements can be found for an individually side.

The viewing area is a little limited, so you have to be very precise about placement, but they basically work.
