I purchased a REDTIGER F17 dash cam recently My first dashcam. It was for my son’s car to monitor his driving habits and also for his protection. Been debating to get one but finally pulled the trigger. This one had front, inside, and rear recording. Did a lot of research before my purchase and I chose REDTIGER because it had great reviews but mainly I was impressed with their customer reviews. Price and quality I think you get a lot for your money it’s worth it. It comes with a 64 gb micro memory card which is enough but I bought myself a 128gb not necessary. I wasn’t sure if I could install it myself and hide the wires correctly but wanted to save money on the install. So I did it myself. It’s not too difficult but I think the average person might have some difficulty. It’s not hard but it’s not easy either. Took me about 1.5 hours reading the instructions and deciding how to place the wire throughout the car. I ended up repositioning the camera a few times for the best camera view since it’s my first time so I ended up ruining the sticker you put on the windshield.and the 3M sticker. I called customer service the same day of the install on a Sunday afternoon and was able to reach someone and explain what happened and if they could send me additional stickers I needed to replace. It was a very easy process they were very understanding and said they would send it out right away. Wow I didn’t expect to get my replacement stickers 2 days later I thought it would take at least a week. The camera does everything I expected and video quality is very good. The app could be a lot better. The WiFi stuff is a little buggy but for the most part I am really happy with my purchase. I think having good customer service is so important and they definitely back it up.

The cameras are great for stationary objects. But anything moving does not come out clear. Tried capturing some footage only to find that I could not get the detail and clarity I was hoping for (I.e. I can’t see license plate numbers in case I get side swiped overnight again which is extremely important and kind of the point of this right?). Spend the extra money and get the F77 instead. You get what you pay for.UPDATE: RedTiger reached out right away to work with me to find a solution to this problem. Within 48 hours, I was able to upgrade to the F77 and it is PERFECT. It is exactly what I was looking for. It’s crystal clear video quality. User friendly. Easy to install. And sleek. Don’t second guess this purchase. It’s worth it! On top of that, wonderful customer service.

I had the 2-channel (ch) Redtiger, but decided I wanted the added benefit of the 3-ch (with its interior view). Incredibly easy to install...it perfectly fit the existing 2-ch mounting bracket, so I didn't have to run the wiring again. The existing plugs for the front & rear cameras snapped right into the 3-ch body = life is GOOD! I bought the 128gb SSD - it records for 11.5 hours before looping which is more than enough. I ran into a problem; the video screen would go BLACK after one minute and I had a hard time figuring that out. Cycling through every single one of the features, I found "SCREEN SAVER" and it was set on 1 minute, then blanked the screen. I reset that to "OFF" and that problem went away. I'm very impressed with the quality of recording and the view screens. You can cycle through them for the view you want displayed - front, back, or interior or ALL. Overall - an EXCELLENT choice and I'm very happy with it. My highest recommendation = Buy With Confidence. John

Overall, the dashcam is good. It has 3 channels that records, front, back, and inside of the vehicle for a great price. You are able to download the recordings directly to your phone. Although you would need to turn on the wifi everytime you want to download. Techsupport are very responsive!Cons:Unable to just only view 2 channels on the screen. I just want to see the front and back camera on the screen, while also recording the inside. You are stuck with all 3, unless you turn off the passengers camera.While all 3 channels being shown on the screen, the main screen takes half of the screen, but it does not show the porportional. The view is cutoff (see picture. very left screen), but it still records the whole angle if you watch the recordings.This con is for all new dashcams. You will need to install them on the windshield on the passenger side. I happened to have a universal dashcam that mounts on the rear view mirror that I used for my old dashcam. I was able to find adapter that came with the mount and mount this dashcam.

It’s been really great so far the app is really easy to use and makes getting footage off the dashcam super easy I got the hardwire kit for another $20 and having the parking mode option a nice touch if you have a suv or van the cables it comes with are long so you’ll have no trouble getting the rear camera to reach back there.

I bought one for my wife's car. I liked how easy it was to set up and use that I bought another one for my car. You get 3 cameras. The front dashcam, the rear dashcam, and the one that watches the occupants. Great to have in case of an accident.

Easy to operate and install in my car. Quality video from the cameras as well.
