Needs to be redesigned. Don’t get me wrong it is a beautiful puzzle and would be great to add to collection (IF IT WORKED.) I have assembled quite a few 3d wooden puzzles, so this is not my first, I am not a Vine Customer and did not get this for free as a lot of the other reviewers did. the lower half assembly was going great tell you had to test it, it won’t rotate smoothly, it would rotate half circle then jammed and then it would no longer rotate. The gears would pop up and no longer connect with the other gear. I wished it had worked. the company should look at the design and completely redesign the bottom half. The whole puzzle relies on the first couple of steps and that's where the design flaw is. I really wanted this puzzle to work and was very upset that its flawed.Ok, second attempt. This is my findings. When assembling at the very beginning, part A7 prevents knob stem from engaging with music box stem isn’t long enough when used with A7 and that prevents sky city from winding up, so I took A7 disc out. I super clued knob to Q1 then completed assembly without using A7 and now the sky city works amazingly. It turns s without a problem. Hope this helps. I would now get again if it wasn’t so high priced.

The media could not be loaded. It was an awesome experience!The wooden pieces are top-notch. Each piece is precisely cut, fitting together perfectly without any splinters or rough edges. The design is full of creativity and clearly a lot of thought was put into it. The instructions are straightforward and easy to follow, yet the puzzle provides just the right amount of challenge to keep you engaged and entertained for hours. Assembling it felt like a journey, with each step revealing a new layer of intricacy and a sense of achievement!The finished model is very beautiful! I’d say a beautiful display piece that I can proudly show off at home or in the office.Anyway, it's totally worth the price. Whether you're a seasoned puzzler or just starting out with a new hobby, this puzzle is sure to give you hours of fun and a great sense of accomplishment. Highly recommended!

I bought this for my son for Christmas. He is totally addicted to these wooden puzzles. This was a favorite, he has many clocks, and maybe fifteen of these wooden puzzles.

Fun project but needed piece N1 replacement and could not reach vendor. Did not want entire music box replaced because it has taken days of work to assemble in several sections. Just need one piece out of hundreds replaced.Pieces are very fragile balsam wood.Would not recommend buying this unless the vendor can provide replacement pieces.

The Product is beautiful when completed, but there are problems. When the package arrived it was in a unmarked box (actual product)... so started off a little sketchy and there's no brand name even on the instructions. The instructions also say contact the seller if there's any problems, no info. Pro-all parts and materials were in the box, Con-YOU WILL break some extremely delicate parts-have super glue handy. Pro- Instructions are clear. Con-I'm glad I've saved my extra wax from other brand builds because the wax stick was in little broken pieces, melting them back together, there still would not have been enough. Fun...6/10 There's a lot of repetitive work, not so much on the mechanical side getting gears to match and work. Con- I had to sand some pieces to make them thinner so there wouldn't be friction between disks (used power sander) and I had to engineer a piece of wood and glue it to the bottom to keep the winding knob in place. It works but while winding, once complete, it's very easy for the gears to skip and it doesn't always rotate correctly. Over all not bad. Looks pretty but will not be buying from them again. Going back to my favorite R O K R. ........also came with a little bottle of some kind of weird clear gel. Can't find what it's supposed to be for, even on the web. Not listed anywhere.

The media could not be loaded. Leaving it at 4/5 because the bottom pieces don’t really turn. I took it apart and put it back together multiple times trying to find the cause. It seems the base music piece, is too short to attach properly to the turning function. I tried sanding it down to fit and it helped a little but still not great. Either way it’s beautiful. I don’t think I’ll play the song again though, scared it’ll break.

This was a very pleasant kit to put together. I have made many wooden clock type puzzles and the parts to this one are the best fitting of any Ive made. The instructions are generally only visaual, and, in my opinion they could be better on some of the steps to show placing some of the parts.
