Right On Time
TESTIMONIAL: I found this book in the library, just 2 days after completing an intensive depression recovery program for 11 weeks. During the program, I chose to experiment with postive affirmations by choosing one to write down, then read aloud to myself everyday 1 month. Ths affirmation had to be positive and speak directly about my traits or abilities. The purpose was to teach me to be kinder to myself and tell to convince my brain that I do love myself. (And that I just forget to believe it due to negative self-talk and too much focus on popular success and not personal growth.)My FIRST positive affirmation had been "I AM ENOUGH," which I had chosen almost a month before I found this book!! [(8-o) wow] WHEN I READ IT, I just cried. On the last day at depression recovery, there is a final group session and people talk about their healing journey with and you with them. My whole life, I have always been afraid that I wasn't doing enough and I had no light. On my last day, like the first page of the book, my friend told me that I have a light that refuses to be dimmed. My dark days were still bright, just not blinding. Hahaha. Then, she told me that I was capable of reaching my dreams, even with a new neurological placement figure condition, this BOOK CONFIRMED THAT. It GAVE ME A NEW FIGHT SONG to accompany me on my journey.

But that does not dictate our worth
This is a beautiful picture book done in prose. Well worth the very quick read. I will share the best part of the book with you."I know that we don't look the same:our skin, our eyes, our hair, our frame. But that does not dictate our worth;we both have places here on earth. And in the end, we are right hereto live a life of love, not fear...to help each other when it's tough,to say together:I Am Enough.

Building Self-Esteem and Confidence
I found this children's book interesting because you can tell it was wrote to build self-esteem and confidence in kids. I feel that this important to instill in young children at an early age. A person shows a significant amount of power when they have confidence and they tend to soar more through the hurdles of life. I applaud this author for writing this book because it going to be essential for grade age children. Plus, the illustrations in this book is magnificent so if a child cannot read the pictures alone will be an encouragement.
