Halloween Scare Tactics!
I used two of these to build a, "Scare the crap out of the kids-inator" for Halloween. It goes under our front porch and the two air cylinders smack into the underside of our deck (the bluetooth speaker pictured plays spooky noises). All coordinated from a Raspberry Pi.

NOT 1/8 PT thread port size, it is G1/8 BSP
Other than the unfortunate misinformation about the thread size these cylinders seem to be of decent quality. It is unfortunate that no one has answered questions about the rod's thread size nor is it included in the product description.

pneumatic cylinder
These are well constructed cylinders with a somewhat odd threaded shaft (10mm x 1.25) and a threaded housing at the other end. That end of the housing is tapped to accept a 10mm through bolt for mounting as well as the threaded housing. The cylinders require less than 50 psi for my application and provide a snappy and firm response in both directions. Recommended
