Thin (FFC) cable for IDC and NOT Dupont Connectors
Read the description carefully... I did not!I bought this to make custom cables with crimped Dupont connectors at both ends... and was therefore disappointed to find it was so thin making individual crimped pins almost impossible (and very, very slow due to the extremely delicate thin wires).The description does state that it is thin FFC cable, though the picture looks the same as other listing for thicker cable; the overall width of the ribbon is just a couple of millimeters less, but it makes all the difference to the strength of individual strands and their ability to be crimped.If you want to make ribbon cables with single insulation-displacement connectors (IDC) at both ends, then this may well be what you want... but if you need to separate the individual strands, such as to crimp Dupont pins, then you should look elsewhere.

Awful to work with
The cable is awful to use with dupont crimps. The diameter of the separated wires is too narrow for the insulation to crimp properly, the wires do not separate cleanly so you end up trimming the outer insulation to tidy it up and I can't see any copper cores.Might be ok for some people to use but for me it's not good enough.
