Reliable Performance and Versatile Connectivity
the Flash Drive through a series of rigorous tests, and I am pleased to report that it passed with flying colours. The device demonstrated exceptional performance and reliability, making it a standout choice for anyone in need of fast and secure data transfers. One of the most impressive aspects of this flash drive is its remarkable speed. Despite Windows' thorough error and virus checks during file transfers, the device maintained a quick and efficient pace. It effortlessly handled the demands of multiple tests, showcasing its robust capabilities in real-world scenarios.During transfers, I noticed that the drive became warm to the touch, though not to a concerning extent. This indicates efficient heat dissipation and is well within the acceptable range for such devices. The drive's build quality is commendable, providing a reassuring sense of durability. One of the standout features of this flash drive is its dual-interface design, offering both USB-A and USB-C options. This versatility is a game-changer, allowing seamless connectivity with a wide range of devices. The selection between the two interfaces is straightforward, making it a convenient solution for users with different port preferences. While the overall design is excellent, I couldn't help but wish for some form of protection for the exposed interface when not in use. A simple solution could be the inclusion of plastic covers, ensuring added safeguarding against dust and debris. However, this is a minor concern given the drive's overall stellar performance. With a generous storage capacity and an impressive transfer rate, this flash drive is a reliable companion for everyday use. Its convenience, speed, and dual-interface options make it a standout choice in the crowded market of storage solutions. If you're in search of a dependable and versatile flash drive, Flash Drive is undoubtedly a top contender.

Very fast. A joy to use
This USB flash drive I think is the fastest I have ever used. Combined with the large capacity this is a compelling product which I am almost extremely pleased with. There are two connectors on this drive one on each end, however, I have assumed this device should only be connected to one device at a time. This leads me to the none aspect of this flash drive I don't like. Only one of the two connectors can be protected by the cover at any given time, leaving the other end exposed. A two-in-one connector would have been a better option in my opinion unless of course this device is deliberately designed to act as a bridge between two devices.Apart from the reservations I just mentioned this is a marvelous flash drive that I will use regularly.

Very Fast SSD inside a Dual USB memory stick
The Fanxiang 512GB solid state USB drive appears to be made from some sort of metal alloy and it is deceptively heavy. The drive itself has both a USB type A and a USB type C interface making it very useful for transferring files between a modern phone and an older PC. Of course this would be tedious on a 512GB drive if it were slow, however this drive is exceptionally fast.I didn’t manage to get 560MB/s speeds but I came pretty close to them, I got read speeds of just under 460MB/s and write speeds of up to 444MB/s. The speeds didn’t deviate much when reading or writing 64GB of data. The device did get warm with prolonged use but not enough to worry me, besides it comes with a 5 year after sales service, although they don’t specify what that entails and my browser is coming up with an insecure connection error when I try and connect to their website. The SSD USB stick also has a high 320TBW (Terra Bytes Written) value and according to their website, undergoes some fairly comprehensive testing, such as a 48H read/write test.I like the swivel cover which hides the fact that there are 2 interfaces on this device and makes it appear to be a normal USB stick.

The Clicks are Satisfying…
…as you rotate to use it.I don’t like that only one side is protected at any one time, as if it’s supposed to be plugged in at all times.Which is not the case for a device like this. This apparently has a TBW (terabytes written) of about 300TB.Which is no issues for me because this will be written to until full and read from most.Essentially using only 490GB or so of the 300 TWB capacity. Unless I remove and add other similar files which would still be under 500GB TBW used…in that case, this should hold up for years…maybe decades?I feel like the two connections of both are used, would write to different parts of the SSD, so I’ve decided to use just the USB-A part.So the data written (in theory) is more consecutive, as opposed to all over the drive. So no defragging or optimisation is needed, which will of course eat into that ever dwindling TBW capacity that’s the bane of SSDs existence…You can read from either end, without affecting the TBW capacity.4/5 so far, and I will update this, should This not hold up to the write speeds and storage potential.Update: 23-7-24, but should have been a while ago.The stuff previously put on this drive is still there, BUT, I can no longer copy/delete anything from it.Hence the 4 to 1 star. Now getting a concerned message in hard disk sentinel about the other 512GB usb drive I ordered from the same manufacturer…so keeping a close eye and will backup just in case!Started so promising fanxiang…
