Color by Number Animals: Adult Coloring Book with Cats, Dogs, Birds, Butterflies, Horses, Sloths, and Many More for Stress Relief and Relaxation (Color by Number Coloring Books) Paperback – December 1, 2023

I've tried several color by numbers in the last few months based on social media recommendations, and this one has BY FAR blown them away. Sometimes in the color by number, the color choices are just strange and the end result is disappointing. I know I can choose to change them, but part of the beauty of the color by number is being challenged by new color combinations and not having to spend energy choosing a palette. The paper is not great, but it takes alcohol markers just fine. I used an inexpensive set of Taotree alchol markers and I was so pleased! The images are not too detailed, so they are easy to complete in under an hour. I also like that you can see the numbers just fine and they are mostly positioned in a corner of the space, not right in the middle. I will be searching out more of these books by Jade Summer!!

There are 48 colors - the variety makes the completed images look very nice. Where I didn’t have exact colors, I selected colors in a similar family group with a similar value. I used my Ohuhu alcohol markers. It works quite well! The numbers are grey so they get mostly covered up after you add color. It’s very relaxing and quick for when I want to color but don’t want to think of a color palette. Would love for Alexis to come out with more!

Wonderful Book!Great Book! I’m a perfectionist, so saying that I only have three complaints. 1. I wish the animals the animals were named. You can’t always tell what they are easily. 2. Perforated pages are always wonderful. 3. It’s hard to come up with 48 colors!!!! With Sharpies I can do 47!!!! lol But all in all your book is magnificent don’t get it twisted!!!! I love it! I make pictures for my little students for presents. Beautiful! Thank you for such pretty gifts. I was never talented before. I’m so proud.

cute, easy and fun

As a long time Jade Summer fan, i found this book very pleasing. Love all the animals and the structure of the book. Love that it has testing area to help match the colors. I only own a few color by numbers books, i enjoy these when i don't want to do the mental work (hahaha) I have used pencils and markers so far in the book, both are wonderful. the pages are single sided with black background to help with bleed thur, i still used protection just in case with the darker colors. Over all I would recommend this book!! thank you JS and team!!

LOVE THE ANIMALS

The pictures are cute and I like how large the coloring spaces are. However, the pages are really thin, the color chart on the back doesn't quite match the "Vibrant Color Chart" on the inside of the book. The color choices for each picture doesn't make much sense..(why is orange and red considered a shade of brown in some pictures?)If you plan to use markers like I did, I would choose a different book.
