Active Milk Kefir Grains

So happy with my kefir. Ot was delivered as described. Its been a week and a half and it already multiplied. I keep it at 65F for 24hrs and it gives me the 8oz of kefir. It gives me the smoothie consistency. I do need to keep the ratio of 1tbs for 8oz of milk to keep the same consistency. Now that it has multiplied I will make a separate batch with 75F and have the consistency of yogurt and separate the whey. The taste is mildly sour. It works on my gut slowly which I like.I definitly recommend this product.

The grains are healthy and are producing great kefir. They are also getting bigger. Great deal for the money.

Kefir grains arrived alive and after 2-3 batches they started making good kefir. However, my kefir grains started to float all the time now. Still trying to figure it out. I am using Costco milk that is not ultra-pasteurized.

It took five days between when the grains were shipped and when they arrived. The grains were small, though that was explained in the packaging directions. I followed the initial starting cycle instructions and it seemed to be going well at first, but by day 3, the corner of my kitchen where the kefir jar is smelled like rotting garbage. I rinsed them off and changed to a fresh jar and fresh milk, but on day 4, the rotting garbage smell is already back. I can only conclude that either the grains were defective to begin with, or that they died during the long transit time. I did contact the seller and the included pamphlet indicates that they’d address any concerns within 24 hours, but I have not heard back despite having a full day of business hours. I’ve successfully maintained sourdough starter and kombucha for awhile now, and would still like to add milk kefir, but I will not be buying from this seller again.

Hands down excellent seller! Communication was prompt. I asked roughly how much I would need to buy to achieve the amount I wanted. Seller gave a very thorough explanation. This made me comfortable to buy from them. Once I received it I was extremely happy to see the packaging and extra goody. Thank you! After following the easy to follow directions I am drinking goat milk kefir and enjoying it. Huge thank you to the seller.
