Works well. Pretty easy to do
Worked perfectly. Installed easily. I accidentally pulled the rj45 connector off of a 50m armoured CAT6 cable, once I figured out the wiring was T568B, I followed the wiring images on the connector. The kit comes with no instructions, but simply following the A or B guide and trimming the wires flush with the white connector worked perfectly. Coupled with same day delivery, I’m back up and running! Should also mention I’ve never done this before and did a lot of googling, found this image online which helped me figure out what I needed to do (both ends need to match).

Not Sure on Cat 5 compatibility
I gave this product 5 stars as I was not sure about what to put, as I could not get them to pierce my cat 5 cable. This is advertised as cat 6 and 5e compatible but I didn't check what wire I had installed. The backstory is : I run a cable from our house down the garden to a cabin we built 15 years ago. Back then, I just bought the cable and the connecters along with a very cheap tool to crimp them. I never could get the connection working. As it turned out, I never needed the internet in the cabin.I5 years on, for some strange reason I decided to try again. Things had moved on, and you could purchase connecters without the need for a crimper.I connected them to the cable easily enough. They seem like a very good product problem is they just don't really pierce the cable very well at all. I'm assuming this is because the cat 5 cable is to thin and probably not the best quality. I don't want to give bad feedback as I assume it is my fault.

Easy Peasy.
I'm in the process of replacing my home's network cables and I wanted an easier solution to terminating the cable. I find the standard RJ45 connectors a bit fiddly as you have to cut the wires precisely and ensuring the wires don't get mixed up when inserting them into the connector can be a hassle. So, I bought four of these VCELINK Tool-Free RJ45 Connectors, I wish I'd bought a pair of the VCELiNK Precision Flush Cutters at the same time as well. My first attempts to assemble the connector were made difficult by trying to cut the wires with a pair of scissors. I just couldn't achieve a flush fit in the loading clock so the block wouldn't locate in the main body properly. After buying a pair of the VCELiNK flush cutters it was a piece of cake. The connector has the IDC type connections where the wires are forced into V shaped metal contacts which slice through the wire's insulation to make contact. I did find I was unable to push the loading block fully home by just holding it and using my thumb but, by putting it onto a firm surface and applying downward pressure the block snapped into place. I then confirmed that the cable was working with a cable tester. These connectors are big compared to standard RJ45 plugs so, if space is tight, for instance inside a device, they may not be suitable. Another advantage is that they are reusable too. I'm very happy with these tool free connectors and will buy them again.

Simple repairs for dodgy ethernet connectors
My sister in law's house had Cat5 ethernet cabling installed in the walls prior to her moving in. The cables were long runs to the back of the house with router at front, but connector's cable anchor was damaged. She suffered frequent low wireless speed and dropouts for years. This product seemed to be the answer. Watched the online video and wiring now repaired. It took about 20 minutes to deal with the fine wires and wireless drops now banished. A small fine flat blade screwdriver and a sharp knife was all tools needed. A simple fix a sister in law's happy too.

Incredible. Every one worked first time.
I didn't expect these to to work as well as they did on my thick cat6 cable but they did, 6/6.Does take some force to join them and i found putting them on a solid flat surface and using the ends of both thumbs made for a more secure joining. But every one of them wored 1st time. I like VCELink stuff...
