Fish tape
Exactly as described and worked perfectly. The hook on the end kept getting caught in the roof of the gas station that I was wiring so I had to straighten out the end but other than that no problems whatsoever.

Fine for the occasional user, quality is lacking.
I truly expected more from this Southwire Fish Tape. It is difficult to insert and remove the tape from the case. The plastic used in the case is too lightweight and flexible, causing the two parts to bind and not slide smoothly against each other. For someone like me, who uses a fish tape once a year or less, this will work just fine and was a good value compared to other products.

Bang for buck retracts a little bit while pulling out
Got the 125 foot haven’t had any problems with it getting tangled have had it unwound all the way multiple times already and winds back up without getting seized or popping once yet definitely recommend if you don’t wanna chop up 170$ for a Klein or ideal fish tape lot cheaper to replace if the apprentice kinks it too

I didn't heed the bad reviews, I should have
Pitiful product. Was barely able to extent the fish. It was creaking and cracking and obviously was not coiled properly. Couldn't easily get it to recoil and the poor thing was getting more and more off track. Kind of gotnthe fish back in the it was warped and unusable. An absolutely terrible product. I immediately returned it. I hope they don't send you that one. SMH

Jammed upon delivery, very difficult to pull. 50/50 if I should return
I received this jammed. It was surely a mission to un-jam/pull / make work. It does work, 50/50 if it’s worth keeping. Maybe I got a dud, maybe it needs to be worked/broken in 🤷🏼♂️. I other fish tapes I have used are also 50/50. I bought this to replace my old Klein tools that started to become a pain to use. It is excellently priced where I wouldn’t be to upset if it walked off the worksite. I do like how it has ft markers at each foot. The bent tip/connection point, I will have to get used to. C+ 50/50 if I would recommend to a friend.

Works fine.
If you are going to be installing electric wiring, especially in old work, you probably will need a fish tape. If I was a pro I would have a fiberglass one, but for my occasional use this metal type is fine,
