Closet rod support
Work perfectly for a simple closet rod support. I clipped the wire loop that it came with. Using 1/16" wire crimp ferrules (couple bucks) I made a larger loop for the closet rod. Simple, cheap, minimalistic.

Simple and Strong Solution
Simple and Strong Solution for our closet! Over the years our closet rod had begun to sag. One end was in the wall, but the other end stopped short of the wall. It had multiple wall supports, but it wasn’t as secure as I wanted. I located a joist that ran almost directly above the bar, attached this with a 3” screw and quickly cinched it tight! Whole project took less than 10 minute. The ratcheting wire hold is ingenious and meant I did not need any other wire lock. The packet that I received did not include screws as the information had led me to believe. I wanted a longer screw anyway so no problem.
