Update: I am on my 2nd bag now. I love this so much. After brewing the tea in my French press, I have started adding ground coffee and brewing coffee with the once brewed tea leaves in it and it is SO GOOD.******Original review:This tea is my absolute favorite. I was originally trying to find a tiger chai tea mix because I fell in love with the flavor at a boba shop where it is a special, and after doing some research I found that this is super close, it is just missing vanilla. I bought this so I could make my own knockoff version of the boba tea at home, and I am thrilled with it.I brew the tea at 212 degrees since it is a black tea and I steep it for at least 5 minutes. After I pour out the tea, I add a little bit of fresh tea leaf mix and I'll make a second batch from the same leaves. I keep adding a little bit of tea and using the same leaves all day long and it works great. (I am fully aware that this may very well be considered a crime against tea to some, and I apologize if that made you cringe).The tea is fragrant and flavorful, especially the first batch made from fresh leaves. The black pepper gives it a kick that I never would have imagined enjoying if it hadn't been for the boba shop. I just started to bottle it up into 8oz bottles to use throughout the day as 8oz is the perfect amount to put over ice and add milk in our drinking glasses. This also lets me chill it in the fridge instead of shaking it with ice and watering the tea down.I don't think I am going to get 125 cups out of the bag as I make it pretty strong, but I am happy with it and will definitely be buying more. I have had it nine days and the bag is already over halfway gone.In my photo showing the chilled bottles of teas, the small bottle is this tea and the big bottle is jasmine.

Great flavor and aroma. Ideal for pitchers of iced tea.

This is almost a double spice tea. Delicious. It's quickly become a favorite around the house. Most spiced chai will make a second brew with the leaves but the spices never seem to hold up. Surprisingly the spices here seem a bit more pronounced in a second brew. Not the cheapest spiced tea by the ounce but we are convinced of the value. Ordering the larger, 8.82 oz, bags in the future. This doesn't languish in the sealable bag - it's earned its own air tight tea caddy.

It is a good tasting chai. I prefer it when it is sweetened with honey and adding oat milk. Drinking it without honey or sugar it is somewhat bitter and peppery.

same as a less expensive and larger quantity of tea I bought here. 3.5oz for $15 for this tea vs 8oz for $14 of organic tea, and a very, very similar taste. I'll go back to the other one next time. Who knows, they might be the same tea in a different packaging just to increase profit...

I've been trying different looseleaf chai blends and this one has a strong, delicious flavor. I was worried it would be too spicy, but it's not and I can drink it without milk, although I do prefer it with some almond or coconut milk added. I add a little chai to my herbal blends for flavor and to give me the caffeine from the black tea. I am not sure if this is a higher caffeinated blend, but I always feel energized from it.

This is authentic masala chai with a great price tag. Strong and robust. Goes great with maple syrup and milk.
