I’ve had ants every single year at my home since I moved in. Bought the “orange” branded bait traps from the big box stores, seemed to work some years, other years not as well. Then started buying shaker bags for the entire perimeter of my home. Treated the outside of my house this year with shaker bags, within a week or two it warmed up here and we had a bunch of rain, and the ants came flooding in. 😩. I did some research and decided to try DIY. After having ants all over my sink for 4 days, spraying vinegar, swatting em, wiping the area down with bleach and vinegar so they wouldn’t have any food source or reason to be there, caulking off the areas they seemed to be coming in and out of (they’d just find new spots)... I got this stuff in the mail. Literally, no exaggeration, I made a mixture last night.. put it out. And within 5 mins the dozens of ants I had consistently seen there for days turned into hundreds of ants…. if not a thousand. They were *everywhere* on this stuff. Woke up this morning, all of them were either dead, or completely gone. Left it out until about noon to be sure, cleaned it all up, put a fresh new mixture out. It’s now 10pm, zero ants. Insane.

Good product, but the packaging is inappropriate and dangerous. The bag has a tear away top with a ziplock closure after tearing it open. The issue comes when tearing it open it poofs out because the boric acid has kept the ziplock from closing. Thus the bag cannot be resealed (the ziplock is too small and only single lined) and this is too dangerous and wasteful for storing. Then when trying to transfer the material the bag provides poor ability to pour!

I'm really not sure how I feel about this product, I live in an apartment complex and I've seen maybe maybe six cockroaches in my apartment so I purchased this to kill anymore that I might see and I've tried mixing it with powdered sugar and coffee and chocolate syrup and other things. And maybe I just don't have cockroaches bad enough but I haven't seen any go into the powder. I've even mixed it with peanut butter and honey so I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or I just don't have a bad enough Infestation... I moved in here about 2 years ago and never had bugs in my life and I just can't keep them out because other people in the complex don't give a crap that they live with cockroaches. So of course they're going to come over to my unit, I try to keep my apartment extremely clean and vacuumed all the time and wiped down. So maybe that's why I haven't seen that many but I just can't find the right mixture to attract any that come in to this powder, I even put some on a sticky catch pad on my coffee table because I've seen one on my coffee table when I had my frozen coffee on there.. so I don't know. I would say give it a try. Maybe your infestation is worse than mine and it'll work for you

This is a great product! I used the store version that is not pure and it did not impress me. This product actually solved my problem. If you have ants, hard water and dirty clothes this will help. Great value! Easy to pour into a mason jar for super sealed storage. Worked great on ants!

Use for killing wasp. Worked like a charm.
