Highly recommend
This little gadget allowed me to convert some existing curtains into grommet tops very quickly. I had patterned sheers and was dreading cutting all the holes knowng they would shred. This gadget cut the holes so nice and round and fast they had no time to shred before I snapped on the grommets. Thanks to the inventor!

1) Poor blade quality stops cutting after few. 2) only can make opening 1/3” from edge.
It has 2 problems:1) Extreme poor blade quality that stops cutting after 10/15 cuts.2) can only be placed 1/4”away from edge of the fabric. Which gives no option on how far you want the opening to the edge of fabric.

Grommet review
It was easy to use. It did eat up the fabric but I was able to hide it with the grommet.

Mangled my fabric
Maybe it would work well on the vinyl blinds the video shows it cutting through, but I didn't have any of that on hand to try. This cutter simply mangled the fabric I did try it on--didn't even come close to cutting a circle. I did get it to work okay on paper, so I might put it in with my crafting tools ... but the blade makes me nervous. There is no safety guards on this device at all. It doesn't lock in a closed position for transporting or moving it (the hinge just swings open to expose the blade fully), and there isn't any kind of guard to keep me (let alone any child I might be doing crafts with) from slicing a finger on it. So if I keep it, I'll have to find a place where it's not easily accessible by anyone who isn't specifically looking for it and ready to be safe with the tool!

Didn't cut well
Great idea but it just doesn't cut so well
