A couple of friends and I needed inexpensive mannequins for a costume display show. Between the three of us, I think we ordered 8 or 9 of these. They're lightweight and surprisingly well made for the cost, and they shipped quickly.

Love it. Putting together was pretty easy. I had a little trouble with the top screwing into the body. Very sturdy yet lightweight just make sure you screw the height screw tightly or it will lower under any pressure. The legs are solid and the body is pretty accurate for a 12 or 14. This is perfect to take to shows or for use at home.

Made a quilted cover so I could pin stuff on this form easier, also put some weights on the bottom so it can hold up to heavy use. With these additions I'm so so happy with this, shipping was expensive but altogether it was still a much cheaper option than an adjustable form from big craft stores.

This dress form is very close to my size, about 1/2 inch larger in the bust. The other dress forms that I have reviewed with adjustable sizes had so many poor reviews with a high price I didn’t want to take the risk. I sew for myself or my daughter who is pretty much my size so it’s perfect for my needs. The dress form was very easy to assemble except for raising and lowering the height. The plastic material is lightweight but not too light so it doesn’t fall over easily. Why do we need to put pins in the dress form? I have a pin cushion for that and if I were fitting a pattern to a person I wouldn’t poke pins in them. I pin seams together but I have no need to poke the dress form. It can be done for those who feel the need. Try inserting at a 45 degree angle. The height adjustment is a little tricky, so I use a small c clamp to hold torso in place. This is a great product for the money.
