I love two things about this fan, three really. 1. It is tall, the fan circulates all the air in the room. The air motion offers a cooling effect. It is economical to run 24 hours a day if/when needed. It is quiet, Wonderful night of sleep, did not even notice it. There is a low sound as it occillates noticieable if you are listening for it. The one thing that could have been an improvement and if they ever make one I hope they send it to me to test out. The fan should blow over the ice, a separate ice chamber for cooling ambient air temperature. So simple to do.PS: I have used it for a while now and it works great without water - you have to use different ice packs, even zip bags with ice. But the big bad thing is the "handle" to pull out the "bucket" is nearly on the floor - bend way over and that is a design flaw.

This fan works great! I only occasionally fill it with the water and ice packs and wouldn't say that the cooling feature is the same as air conditioning, but it does boost the cooling effect and is a nice plus. The features and appearance are what I appreciate more. It is quiet, and the multiple settings and timer are great. I would very much recommend it as a fan.

Bought it to cool down my son's room (about 14x16) so he can sleep at decent temperature. It actually never noticed any cooled down in the temperature, not even 0.1 degree (F); I tried 3 times to see if the cool down function will work. You want a fan that just blows well, buy this one! I'd rather buy a cheap fan from Costco that does exactly the same thing.

This is a good product. I just wish the ice would last longer in the water/ice drawer.As a woman of a certain age (you know the age, hot flashes that feel as if someone perked the thermostat up over 130° in 1.3 seconds, cranky, happy, murderous, normal temp then start the rodeo over) I can say that it does cool my little 12'x12' office space down with a full drawer of ice, for about 2 1/2 hours. Then I have to refill the ice.The water left behind if not dumped every day, gets a little gross looking from day one. I'm not sure what that's all about.But as long as you have an endless supply of ice and remember to change the water out regularly, this thing will keep your office nice.I say it doesn't cool as much as I'd like, but others leave my office shivering, so, tomato tamato!It definitely works and is worth the purchase - but it also definitely doesn't last as long as it is said to.

I've had this fan for a few weeks now, I got it to help keep me cool while I work in an unairconditioned garage. The garage itself is relatively cool compared to the sweltering heat outside, but still not cool enough for me to comfortably work out.This fan has been a great solution. The ice packs last long enough to keep the fan blowing cool air when I need it. It beats a normal fan any day of the week, and I couldn't ask for anything more for the price.

This is a game changer in my son's room! After moving in with my grandma who doesn't like to run the AC (ever), my son's room would get up to 80° overnight. This fan got that temperature back down to a reasonable 70-72° range. It's pretty quiet, providing just enough white noise to help my son sleep.

So this thing is HUGE! I’m 5’5 & it comes up to almost my chest! Easy set up! It’s quiet! BUT it’s been in a small room now for over 24 hours and it’s only cooled it down some. It blows out cool air! It is powerful but just doesn’t do it & it is in a very small room! Not exactly what I expected for them price tag of it! If I could go back and buy something different I would! It’s not really worth it for the money that I paid and I got it on a deal!

This fan was recommended by a friend in place of an air conditioner. Easy to assemble and use. Add water and the supplied ice packs for cooling or just use as a fan. Can’t say enough, I’m spreading the word this fan works great!
