bought this as saw on TV that it helps to crisp up roast potatoes - apparently according to the reviewer this is what the frozen potatoes companies use and it works a treat. Just dust with the flour before roasting and you get the most wonderful crispy roasties.

I wanted this potato starch to make a tempura batter. It's lovely and smooth and doesn't form a lumpy batter. It crisps up beautifully in a deep far fryer. It's an excellent thickener for sauces and gravies too. Good product.
