Good inverter, if installed correctly.
This is an amazing little unit considering the price. I’ve pushed it to 1150 watts continuous and it handled that with no problems. The sine wave is clean and the voltage level holds steady. It does need enough battery to provide 90 or so amps without the input voltage sagging, so don’t hook it up to a small battery and expect it to perform to specs. The fan keeps it cool enough but it is loud. I have no use for the remote so I haven’t bothered with it.I’ve installed it in a van with dual 70ah batteries, and it easily charges my Jackery and the house batteries while I drive. If I keep the load to less than 400w, the fan doesn’t kick on and it’s completely silent. The thumb nuts will loosen over time, so I added a lock washer and that fixed that issue. Also, the cables that came with the unit seemed undersized, so I doubled up on those.I’m very pleased with it so far

1100 watts
Used this inverter on a recent camping trip. It worked great to plug in our air mattress and Keurig coffee maker . Don't be alarmed by the spark when first connecting to battery .

Not reliable.
After 18 mo. it is failing to produce 120v. It does have a 24mo warranty but that is of no use if unable to get support. Used seldom during that time.

Accomplishes it’s purpose
This isn’t something at least in the 500 watt version that is going to run much when the power goes out — in SC we had a Hurricane go through that left my family without power for three days (some still don’t have power almost two weeks later) — I set up a little experiment with this and found that it will fast charge my rechargeable electronics and flashlights — I tried using the USB outlets in my car but that was not worth the gas at the slow charge rate — I can hook this right up to the car battery without turning on the motor and charge several items at the same time — with the display you can see the input voltage from the car and run the motor only when needed and verify the output voltage to be close to 120 VAC — the more devices you add the lower the voltage goes — I tried to run a corded drill and then my lawn mower battery charger with the same result — the output voltage dropped below 30 VAC and the inverter alarm went off as did the inverter — when I removed the load all was good again — of course the motor running requires the car to be outside — this is small enough that if the weather is bad you can put everything under the hood safely away from moving parts and heat — the input terminals need to be modified to get a tight fit on the wire lugs — the knobs don’t have deep enough threads to fully tighten down onto the wires — I had to put a couple of extra washers on the terminals to get a tight fit — there were three thin washers included so I would have only been able to get one side tight — I can use this for what I ordered it for so I am very happy with this inverter — go for a model that has a display, otherwise there is too much guess work and that would likely end up with a blown fuse
