Does the trick!
At this moment in time it has served its purpose well and has been a life saver for me. Although for smaller fast spiders they are a devil to catch once they start running. That said, I have managed to catch all the ones I have set out to get and the catcher even gets them by one leg and they can't get away, which is reassuring for those people who like me are scared silly. What's more it doesn't harm the spider. I don't like to kill anything if I can help it, so this does what it says. However, the plastic handle and stick looks like it is cheap and brittle and could break easily, so I'm having to take extra care not to knock it.

it works and you don't have to get very close to the hairy legged beasts
As far as I'm concerned, even though for a piece of plastic the price is relatively substantial, i was so thankful for it when I removed a spider the size of a plate that I found in my bath in the morning. Find spider, open window or door, grab the grabber and in you go. it catches the spider in the end bit and doesn't hurt it but holds it tight enough so they can't move or (crucially) get away when you're running to the open window. Then through the window it goes and off runs the beast. Job done. As far as I'm concerned, its well worth the money if you don't like spiders but don't like killing them and live on your own.

Doesn't close fully
So I bought this thinking it would be great as I am terrified of spiders but don't want to kill them. So I sneak place it over them close it thinks this is brilliant heading for the front door when I noticed the bloody spider is walking up the fecking handle at me. I thought maybe I did it wrong well I thought this after all my screaming 😱😱😱. My husband tried it out and that's when we notice 4 times out of 6 it doesn't close fully. Sure that no good. So it's gone in the bin. So save your money.

Good invention
Living in a very old house, we tend to have huge "house spiders" lurking around, especially at the start of Autumn. To pre-empt a repeat of last year's nightmare of trying to catch these huge monsters without touching them or killing them. I purchased the Buzz Spider Catcher and I am so happy with it already. On the day I received my Buzz I caught one small and one medium spider and a large moth and safely deposited them outdoors. The "catcher" part opens out allowing the insect to be surrounded and gently encased . You receive a largish plastic spider to practice with too.

This is an amazing product if the creature you're trying to catch is BIG
Amazing idea, and fantastic if your spider (or in our case MOTH) is big. If they are big then it catches them and holds them really well. One design flaw is that if the spider is smaller than say a 10p piece this product won't work, unfortunately. I have used it to catch a BIG moth and it worked really well. Whilst I hate them I wouldn't ever want to harm them so I was pleased to have it. Have tried to catch a few spiders but they were too small for the bristles to be effective. I have given this 3 stars as I love the idea, the length of the pole is good as, in my humble opinion the further away from the creature you are the better, the squeeze trigger is good and easy to use and feels strong, the bristles are also good. Just not great for small spiders etc.

Perfect!
Must say I'm blown away! Fear of spiders has gone (sort of). Just long enough to grab them. If you're grabbing a spider in a corner it can knock it off the wall, which has happened a couple of times now but obviously we then pick it up off the floor. On flat surfaces (floor, walls...) it's absolutely brilliant. Obviously only works for medium sized and big spiders, I found it's dropped a couple of little spiders just where they're so small. Think I can deal with those with a cup and paper though ;) thank you.
