Worked very well as my patio roof. Very strong panels, and easy to work with.

Tough and versatile panel
I ordered these Femitu 8mm Polycarbonate Greenhouse Panels primarily to be able to get a jump on my raised bed planting, and these are perfect for that purpose. The panels’ high transmissibility allows solar gain during the day, and the twin wall design forms trapped air tubes that help to keep that heat in during the night. The panels are long enough to span my raised beds, and the 5-pack provides enough to fully cover one bed. I had originally planned to secure them to a frame but for testing purposes I just laid the panels across the bed and placed long boards over the ends to hold them all in place. This worked fine, and once I no longer needed the extra heat, I was able to just stack the panels up and store them in a small space, so I will probably not bother with putting them in a frame. Our region is not yet out of frost danger, so they are just sitting in the corner ready to quickly re-deploy if needed. The panels themselves are lightweight but durable. They are just like the panels that make up my greenhouse only smaller. I could see these being usable to repair a damaged section of the greenhouse. Their lightweight toughness and convenient size would be perfect for building into cold frames, something I have been wanting to experiment with. I can also see using them for privacy/security panels over the windows in my garage door, or a similar purpose in an outbuilding with windows smaller than these panels, or even the side lights in the front door. They would not block much light, would prevent prying eyes from looking in, and given their toughness, would be much stronger than regular glass, and provide a measure of thermal and sound insulation as well. Their cost compares favorably with locally available single polycarbonate sheets, but they provide many additional benefits. I am pleased with these panels’ quality and versatility, and find them to be a worthwhile investment.

I used these panels for a plant cold frame and it is great
Being a gardener, I always want to get started on growing plants as early as possible. living in upstate New York spring is later for us than many areas. I ordered these panels to create a cold frame which was easy to put together. I built a wooden frame then used this panels to add the needed greenhouse effect. It has worked great and the panels have held up to our winter cold and snow.
