Good quality regulator.
Exactly the same design as the regulator that failed on my Clarke Raider compressor with the very great advantage that the body of this is metal where the original was plastic.

Great regulator and prompt service
Fit on my silent compressor (iwata) and works perfectly

Incorrect assembly
I had not used mine for several months and when I came to use it found that I couldn’t lower the pressure to a sensible level. Like others here it had been incorrectly assembled with the spring inside the bowl instead of outside. Now correctly assembled it works fine but it was a real pain reassembling with the spring in the correct position.

Was wrongly assembled by the Manufacturer!
When I purchased this airbrush regulator/water trap, I took note of the review by B. Lawrence which he stated that you have to pull down on the silver water trap actuator for the regulator to function at all.Having used similar water traps before other air brush compressors, I thought strange, but went ahead and bought one myself.And..., yes he was right! This was exactly the same with my experience.Normally you have to press up the water trap valve from the bottom to actuator it, but it was working "back to front".You can unscrew the clear water trap bulb and with a bit of care you can lever off the circlip on the outside. On examination the 'fool' manufacturers assembled the mechanism with the spring on the INSIDE of the bulb mechanism! It was a simple fix to refit the spring on the OUTSIDE of the valve and trap the spring between the metal bottom of the bulb and the circlip. It now works perfectly as intended!

Faulty Design and Impractical to Use
This item appears to have been updated from the one pictured. The bleed valve on the water trap has been reversed and releases air pressure unless it is held open. You can get this to work but it's really hard to use an airbrush while holding a sprung valve closed with one hand.
