Job done
This is the latest in a long line of Brook Adapters that I've bought over the years. They all do different things and they all still work. The Wingman Series of adapters are especially good. Now I can use almost any controller with any xbox console. They're also a great bridge for PC Gaming (you can connect PS controllers and they instantly work with Windows DirectInput drivers). Everything arrived promptly and in very good condition, would recommend.

It Works!
Good product, but not so much for series s/x as it says it is not a authorised controller and gives you a date 2 weeks later to use by..But I'm sure for older consoles or PC it'll be fine.

Keeps needing to be flashed
This device works for a few days then it disconnects from the controller and the only way to get it to reconnect is to flash the software using a pc otherwise works well with fast delivery 4 stars would of been 5 if the above problem was solvable

Works perfectly out of the box
How did I live without this? Plugged it in and it just worked out of the box. Tried it with 360 wired pads, a 360 fight stick and a wired PS4 controller - every one worked flawlessly. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Worked staright out the box
Connected PS5 controller to Xbox Series X and I had my doubts whether this would work without a cable.Plugged in the dongle to my Xbox, Plugged in my PS5 controller to the dongle and it worked. Amazing!!.Don't make the silly mistake I did when removing the cable and thinking it doesn't work. The PS5 controller switches off so all you need to do is switch it back on. Der!The only very small inconvenience is it doesn't seem to remember the controller so needs repairing each time I turn on my Xbox

Not useful for my purposes
I bought this to use with my Series X so I could connect some of the dozens of Bluetooth controllers I've bought over the years with Retroarch. Unfortunately, most of the controllers I tried to connect - including a RetroBit SEGA Mega Drive 6 button controller, a RetroBit Saturn controller, the Nintendo Switch Online Mega Drive controller, the NSO SNES controller, the Switch GameCube controller, and a few others - just didn't work. Most wouldn't connect at all, and those that did either wouldn't work at all or would only work with the menu. I was able to connect a PS4 and Switch Pro controller, but as I prefer the Xbox Series controller anyway, this wasn't what I was hoping to use it for. Then there's the little matter of Microsoft stopping support for any input device that isn't "designed for Xbox", which I get, and it's not the fault of this company, but it does limit the appeal of the device and may make it unusable with the Series systems in the near future. The company is aware of this and has removed references to these systems, but still, it's disappointing.I didn't use this with my 360 or original Xbox before I sent it back, which I regret as it may have led to me keeping it. Bare in mind however that some controllers require additional elements, like a USB to Xbox adapter for og Xbox, or the Microsoft USB wireless controller adapter to connect 360 controllers to a different Xbox system.Overall, I'm disappointed with this adapter and feel it's too expensive for what it is, especially after Microsoft have cut the legs out from under it with their policy change around third-party controllers. Hopefully they find a fix and improve compatibility to make this worthwhile.
