Perfect solution
Had a 4 input audio interface. Got the following vocal mic, acoustic mic, stereo guitar signal and bass. Thats 5 inputs! Was fed up constantly having to re adjust signals and setups by which time the riff/idea had gone.By using this I was able to run the vocal and acoustic mics via this switch. Most of the time I use one or the other. This allows me to switch between. Plus........also has a useful mute switch which avoids feedback when monitors are in play.Yes, you get some switching pop but not an issue as Im not recording at that stage.

Not good for professional audio work
A large electrical shock with every switch and it creates noise

Noisy switching
Works OK as a mix down from two inputs to a single output but switching too noisy to use in a live setting. Big popping sound straight to the PA is not a clever move.
