Do not accept what they tell you if you return a faulty item.
I received a planer from them which was dead. I was an electrician for 42 years with 2 of their competitors On inspection the machine was scratched, no paperwork, safety plastic missing from plug pins. sent it back and they told me the machine was in perfect working order and nothing wrong with it. I disputed their comments, result no machine returned and I have lost £200 +

Easy to use as planer thicknesser
Sturdy, well made, accurate cuts.Dust extractor and side guide are fiddly to put on.Overall I’m delighted 😀

review of thicknesser
after useing the the tool for a short while , it became testing to keep taking the fence off to use the thicknesser, it can be a right pain , to have to take the fence off , then having to check its square again for re use , had i know this before i bought it i wouldnt have orded it , but i was sucked in by the price as my budget is limited ,having said the negatives its very good tool for the use , another small grip is that the chipping get stuck in the outlet as there are plastic inside the extraction pipe i had to cuts these out and it works fine with a standard shop vac .

Scheppach planer thicknesses.
Very disappointed, got it out of the box,set it up & it didn't work. Checked the obvious fuse ect still didn't work. I thought things like this were checked, 2nd expensive electrical item bought that didn't work.
