VALUE
Nice compact little system. very good sound quality and picks up an amazing amount of DAB / DAB+ Channels. Overall very good value for money, definitely punches above its weight, Only gripe is ,as per norm with these cheaper systems is the speaker wires are too short, easily overcome, just a pain.

Superb
Bought to replace a big name (but poor quality) low power hi fi for the kitchenFM & DAB+ - very good at picking up stationsCD player - loads quicklyMusic output - very strongEqualiser - a number of presets but also has additional Bass & Treble settings + Loud buttonGreat for rock musicOnly gripe I could come up with (and I'm very hard when judging stereos) is paltry length of loudspeaker cables, but that is simple to fix, so don't let it deter you.Superb unit, especially for the costHighly recommended

Much better than the price would suggest!
Purchased this after having ordered a similar but more expensive R*X*L hifi system which had very poor distorted sound, that bad I returned it within a few hours! This Sharp system sounds great by comparision, no ropey sound from poor speakers. Saved £45 buying the this system also. I wanted something with both an Aux in and a headphone socket, hard to find if you don't want to pay in excess of £300 for a nice Denon system, already have a good TEAC one in the lounge.Once set up and on first switch on, the DAB+ radio runs an automatic full scan and finds all the available broadcasts, around 90 I think it was. Lots of EQ options besides having seperate Bass and Treble controls and one for Loudness also. A nice sized and fully featured remote control to which the main unit responds quickly without any lag. Decent Maxell batteries supplied for the remote too as against some cheap unknown Chinese brand.Cases are all plastic and there are no speaker covers but considering the low price and how good this Sharp unit sounds they're not an issue. The owners manual is easy to understand and well laid out and explains everything you might want to know.Have seen a few reviews say the speaker leads are short, not really an issue for me as it suits to have the speakers either side of the main unit. A very well featured Dab+/FM (RDS) radio with CD player.Only minus I can comment on is the very short DAB/FM wire antenna that's supplied but I have a few spare ribbons ones already which work well.Only been a few days so early yet but so far very pleased with my purchase especially when compared with how poor my first choice turned out to be.

Nice Product - Faulty Volume
The system sets up relatively simply, although the Quick Set Up Guide had multiple language options EXCEPT English? Once set up I realised that the volume control did not increase the sound. The volume went from mute to slightly audible to just quiet and did not increase from there. For a 40w system it was clearly not operating correctly. I had to return it.
