This is an update of the original review shown below. Although i was unhappy with the products perfirmance ive been very impressed with the sellers response to me. They apologized for the performane of the inclinometer and offered a free substitute of another item. Nice to satisfaction is important to some sellers. I would be happy to do business with them again.Didnt work at all. It didnt measure any change on 8% + grade hills. Also a bad shape that sticks up off the handle bars. Total waste. I have a Sky Mountie model that works perfectly and lays flat on the handle bars.

Very satisfied.
For the money you pay it's good value for money. I'm using it on a road bike for a lot of hill climbing so stability is very good and accuracy appears to be good as well, but I find it's a bit hard to read so I have carefully painted some fine lines on the other side of the numbers only on the degree side so it's easier to identify where the gauging is.

Nearly useless
It's not accurate at all. and because it can move during the ride, it is practically useless. It looks cool but not its not scientific, and its not even well designed.

Great addition to the bike
Living in the mountains, these are invaluable. Just for the grunt factor when heading up a hill and wondering how steep it really is! Keeps everyone honest! Very easy to set up and install.

The zero for degrees of grade and percent grade aren't exactly opposite each other.
I like another commenter find that the zeros for percent grade and degrees of grade aren't exactly across from each other. Unless I'm missing something here, I would expect these two marks to be at zero when the terrain is level. Otherwise, I find the instrument to be of solid construction.

Give up those expensive GPS systems
You want to really know? Go old school - it was accurate enough for pilots to use such as a turn and slip indicator. You'll feel like a real adventurer when you ditch the technology.

Great for mountain biking, not so much for a road bike.
Found that the sensitivity of the reading is better duited for very steep grades.
