Good foe the price
Appears to be decent quality for the price. It would be good to know what exact line comes on the reel, but as I was going to replace it anyway its a mute point.

Good budget reel.
I bought 2 of these as I was surprised at quality of 1st one I bought, great for the price does the job, they are big sturdy reels and come preloaded with strong mainline. I have lineaffe fishing gear that is 20 years old including a great rod, I trust this brand.

Big reel. Little too large for my current rod, but value for money, so will keep for when I purchase a beach-caster

It's a big fixed spool reel.
I was expecting the spooled line to be 30lb plus breaking strain nylon, it's much thinner than that, could be 12-18lb breaking strain nylon, could be the fancier flurocarbon line. Whatever the line is, for beachcasting I'll need a shock leader up through the fings and back down to the sinker, and so should anyone else.This is primarily a beachcasting reel, for spinning you would typically want something smaller.It is significantly difficult to get inside to look at the mechanism, I therefore have no idea what the gears are made of, and I have ho idea how durable the reel will be..
