Great converter to ensure my ancient iPad can be charged using a standard USB c cable at an excellent price. Would recommend if you are keen tom keep the old iPad going.

Didn't work at all. Tried it with multiple 30-pin iPods, multiple (known working) leads and power supplies - nothing. Returned to Amazon for refund.

The adapter delivers both power and data to my iPod Video 5.5 80GB, and is much more convenient to pack and carry than a dedicated 30-pin cable.One thing to note is that the USB-C port doesn't have a metal shield, meaning the cable doesn't 'click' into place, and is instead held in place by friction, which is much less robust compared to the metal shield you see in every other device. It does not impact functionality, however I wouldn't use it in shaky environments e.g., car.Overall, it's a welcome accessory to my iPod, and does the job well.

I used this to connect an old ipod to my car, however I think the ipod is past its use by date. Thank You

Wanted to take a smaller number of cables when I travel, this was perfect and meant that it would use my normal USB c cable. Works when connected to pc for media transfer.
