brilliant little tool!
great little tool which holds the chisel in the correct angle and polishes the edge to a fine finish.

Not as robust as I'd like
I feel a bit mean giving this sharpener only three stars, because it did the job very effectively and I was able to sharpen up three chisels (one of which was quite badly damaged) and a plane quite quickly. So perhaps I'm being unfair.However there are two problems:* The sharpening stones easily slip out of the holder. Stronger magnets are needed* As you press the chisel against the holder, the holder slip up, increasing the sharpening angleAs a result I found I had to press down and move the holder, rather than "gently moving the handle" from side to side.I'm also concerned, that because it's made from plastic, it may not last too long. I'd willingly pay more for something more robust with less play, perhaps made from metal.As a final note, the sharpener does have to be screwed firmly to something.

Great sharpener
Great sharpener.It has a bit of play in the sliding mechanism but once you take this into account it does a fantastic job of getting a razor edge.

A good sturdy tool
A good sturdy tool. Only problem is the instructions aren't very informative. I ended up having to look up a video online to figure out how to work it.

Best thing I ever bought for my workshop.Sharpened my place blades and chisels better than I have everbeen able to. Brilliant bit of kit.

Not bad but needs to be a bit more sturdy and a bit more positive in holding the blades
A bit flimsy and the blades do fall off a bit to easily but it does the job
