Gehwol 75ml Foot Cream, Strengthens Skin to Prevent Blisters

I walked the Yorkshire 3 peaks a few weeks ago and applied this to my feet on the morning of the walk - the weather was dire and despite having waterproof boots, water came over the top of them and soaked my feet - cue walking a further 10 miles with drenched feet! This cream saved me, the barrier it creates to protect your feet against blisters no matter what the situation is incredible - after hiking 26 miles and 3 mountains, I did not have one single blister by the end and my feet felt surprisingly fresh. Yes I had decent boots and socks which are a given but I’m certain had I not used this cream I would have been in a whole world of pain! Since the walk I’ve also used the cream on my feet prior to long distance runs and it’s works a treat, particularly if applied to known hotspots. I can’t recommend it enough!

Just bought more as going on holiday soon!.. Had 2 DISTASTEROUS holidays C5 yrs ago where I was in SO much pain from blisters! Couldn't walk shoes on.. Or off, as pavements too hot! Someone recommended this cream to me before the next holiday and I used it Religiously, Daily for a month or so before the holiday! (Continued it on holiday)! Wonderful stuff.. NOT a SINGLE blister!.. Did the same the next holiday!.. I honestly can't reccomend it highly enough! And had Wonderful holidays!.. So here I go again! :))

The item arrived promptly. Application is easy and the cream is soothing.

Lather it on like mad. I don't just mean a dollop or a spoon, I mean squirt as much on as your feet allow. Slip some socks on, and boom. You won't have to change socks all day, bog, rain or otherwise. Your feet may get wet, your shoes may get sodden, but as long as this cream is there, all is good and you won't blister up.

As someone who is on their feet a lot, walking easily 5+ miles a day I can testify that this alleviates virtually all every day foot related issues.I have tried all kinds of solutions and creams in the past and to be honest most had little results rather than just numbing the area for a short while.I have used this to treat blisters, rashes, cuts from toe nails and friction burns and every time it has delivered superb results. With frequent useage it really does toughen the skin. I applied it regularly to my heels and the pads of my feet as they get a lot of abuse and after doing so the skin in these areas definitely seems to be thicker and I get much less issues.In the case of blisters and rashes applying it before you go to bed often resulted in a massive reduction in size and or soreness by the time I had awoken the next day. If you do have to go out with a foot issue, if you simply apply a decent layer of this cream before putting on your socks/shoes it really does help to protect the area and minimise discomfort.This really is my go to for anything foot related, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It isn't cheap but the results it provides are worth every penny!

Smother your feet in this stuff and help them survive a British winter! It’s thick and very fragrant. But massively reassuring.Have used it on tons of long-distance winter races in the UK and I wouldn’t chance a run without it.Protects and winterproofs your feet, especially if you re-apply at check-points etc.Particularly good if you are smashing through mud and bogs.Genuinely a game-changed and I recommend to other fell and mountain runners whenever I can.

This cream is not greasy applied lightly. You need to wear socks to get full benefit. It is not a skin softener

I will give this a try because I get lots of blisters when hiking. As soon as I opened it, the smell disgusted me. It's a smell I can't stand (rosemary) hence 4 stars but, but my feet come first. Once my socks go on I won't smell it. " I hope." I even gag if rosemary is put into food.
