Exactly as I remember from my childhood
After I turned 60 I decided to collect all of the hardback Tintin books that I loved so much as a child. I was a bit worried that the binding or finish of the actual books would be different after so many years, but I'm delighted to say they are exactly the same. A real pleasure to revisit and own.

Part two of the double bill - sublime!
This is part 2 of Tintin's lunar adventure. Both books were my favourite Tintin books when I was a child and it is nice to have them both again. I will not go over the plot as others have done this but surface to say all the great characters are here Tintin, captain Haddock, Prof Calculus and also of course the usual assortment of swarthy foreign villans - would it be published today one wonders? Also appearing are the inept Thompson twins. All great fun and bearing in mind how long ago it was written not bad on the science of "doing the moon".Get the 2 books read them and revisit your childhood then give them to your children or if older their children!I may go and get Red Rackham's treasure next! Just a shame they never made an animated movie of these two books.

Loved it.
Takes me back to my childhood days. I always loved Tintin and Snowy along with Captain Haddock. This was one of my favourite Hergé's Adventures of Tintin stories. Of course there are others to enjoy as well.

Well made. As good as the originals
I gave away my childhood copies but wanted a couple of the stories to show grandchildren. This version is printed to an excellent standard.

Classic Tintin.
Brilliant, bought for son who is quite ahead with his reading. Some might find the content and language a bit too advanced for kids under 10.

An exercise in exploring the art of Herge
I bought this and Destination Moon for the artwork , not because I am a fan of Tintin .The qaulity of the book is good , and I do like the art very much , so much that I intendto buy the 1st volume of Art of Herge , Inventor of Tintin .As for the story , I was bored , to be truthful . It was too wordy , but then I am 61 and haveno nostalgic feelings about Herge . I might buy more , haven,t decided .

As a child, I remember going to the library ...
As a child, I remember going to the library and checking out the Tintin books and being drawn into the adventure, wishing I could be Tintin. Now in my late 20's, I have decided to purchase all the Tintin books so that when my 2 year old is a bit older, I can share the world of Tintin with him :-D
