theBalm Meet Matt(e) Hughes Set of 6 Mini Long-Lasting Liquid Lipsticks, 0.04 Ounce (Pack of 6)

First off, I have to clear this up. I know they are tiny, about the size of my pinky, but the amount is deceiving because you don't need a lot to get great coverage with these. A little goes a long way! Just a tiny bit makes a great lip tint, too.Yes, they are expensive, but you get six different colors, and they ARE a luxury brand.In the tester picture, from left to right: Charming, Sincere, Committed, Doting, Dedicated, Loyal. I did notice that Sincere and Committed were very similar in color, but on further inspection, Sincere is a tad darker, so they are two separate colors.They went on smooth, with full, opaque color. A soft, non-drying matte finish, plus they didn't take forever to dry, and they last a long time. I actually even struggled to remove them from my arm during testing because they set into my skin the way they did into my lips. And the best part? Mine smelled like mint chocolate (is this normal?)! The type of quality I expect from TheBalm.I like that this is a good way for me to try out some of the colors, too, so I can decide which ones I want to get a full-sized tube of.Overall, it was worth the $28, I think. I could've gotten more bang for my buck from a single tube like another reviewer said, but not for this many colors. I am satisfied with the purchase and hope to buy more from this brand in the future!

The Balm Cosmetics liquid lipsticks are hands down the very best! The quality is superb and they work great! The packaging is totally on point and it's a piece of cake to use! I really like that this set includes 6 mini liquid lipsticks of all my most favorite colors! I've been a huge fan of this brand for years and think this lipstick is fantastic! The applicator applies the liquid lipstick very well. The lipstick is bright, bold, and lasts practically all day long! It feels very light and weightless when wearing and provides a matte finish as well. Overall I give this product two great big thumbs way up and would definitely recommend it!

These are TINY samples. That's not a critique, just a heads up. The colors are rich and go on smoothly, and they last through morning coffee. They don't look puckery dry on the lips. The selection of colors leans orange/rust, in my opinion. I usually prefer a more pink nude and a more pink (or blue-toned) red. These are decidedly "bricky."Now, back to the size. For me, these are just right. I have dozens of lip products, and most of them go bad before I can use them up. The small size is perfect, in my opinion. You can decide for yourself if the value is there for you.

I love everything theBalm! I tried these because I had gotten a sample of the color committed before in my Ipsy bag. This color is great! Honestly, with any skin tone it is flattering and not anything too bright or "out there", I like to wear it on days when I just want a subtle color on my lips. I was so enthused with the first sample of committed I got from Ipsy, I HAD to look into other liquid lipsticks of the same brand. When I was browsing Amazon I came across this sample pack, so instead of buying all full-size tubes and not knowing how the colors look on me I just decided the sample would work best. Let me tell ya, I LOVE ALL THE COLORS. I have never been so happy with any lipstick (or makeup product in general). I literally wear these every single day. Sincere and charming are my two favorites but I switch the color every day. I have nearly used up a couple of them and will need to order the full-size product. These lipsticks last ALL day, I find myself having to wash them off at night because they literally last ALL day. They smell great, they dry as a matte finish almost instantly. Very easy to apply, I have a steady hand so it is easy for me to line my lips with the brush provided and then fill in. I can't say enough good things. Absolutely awesome product.

I've recently switched to only using cruelty-free makeup, and I was SO happy to see theBalm on these lists since I already knew I loved Meet Matte Hughes from an Ipsy sample I got a while back. I decided to get this kit through Amazon to find my colors since everywhere here is always sold out. I'm STILL undecided on which is my favorite - they are all so great! Sincere is closest to my natural color (with a little boost of course), so I end up wearing that at work where I talk A LOT since it shows the least amount of wear throughout my shift. These might be tiny bottles, but they last a long time since it only takes one layer of color for full coverage and you rarely have to reapply - really only after you eat, or have been serving for 5 hours. They are matte and don't hold up well if you apply a gloss over it, so I don't recommend attempting to achieve that look with this lipstick. If my lips are feeling dry with it on throughout the day, I dab a tiny bit of chapstick over the color and this doesn't seem to effect the lipstick at all, as long as I don't overdo it.

I bought these because I needed some long-wear lipcolor to wear to work. It just wasn't realistic for me to be reapplying my lipstick throughout the day... who has time for that?I've been very pleased with this sample set so far. I like most of the colors and they have stayed on throughout my 5hr work day, including lots of coffee and tea drinking. They do dry my lips a little, which was no big surprise. I just apply my lip color before I leave the house, let it set while I travel to work, then apply some chapstick once I get in. I have noticed by the end of the day the color could be touched up, but I haven't had any of the dreaded "color around the edges, all gone in the middle" look. I will likely buy a larger size of one or two (Committed in my favorite, I'm very pale and light blonde), and keep the sample in my purse.No weird lipstick taste here, they have a chocolate mint-y essence too them. Nothing too strong, through, which is good.This is my first makeup from theBalm, and now I'm excited to try more of their products!

I like the fashion and the coloring is very beautiful and practical for make-up artists and I recommend to buy it
