Good part, but had to flip the mounted cable bracket to match original. If the original part was not still on the car, could have caused a serious mechanical/operational issue.

This went on a 1954 Ford F100 everything was the same as the one I was taking off. It fit perfect and it runs great a repair kit for the old carb was $46.00 This cost a little more but was worth the extra money. I would buy one again if needed.

This did not fit per description. It is set up for the throttle cable to enter from the passenger side of the engine bay.

First issue was that the bracket for the choke cable is on wrong. Had 2 issues when I got it all hooked up and running. The first one was that it idled way too high. It was around 1,000 rpm, other than having to look up where the idle speed adjustment was, it was an easy fix. The second problem was that it started leaking from where the vent valve rod goes, had to to take the top of the carb off a couple times and readjust the float. It seemed to run good when I took it around a few blocks. Time will tell how it holds up and runs, can't have high expectations on carburetors that are made in China and not America like they should be.
