Exactly what I was looking for. I recently renovated a staircase that was previously carpeted, replacing the carpet with hardwood flooring. Of course hardwood can be slippery underfoot, and with small kids I was concerned about slips and falls on the new hardwood stairs. I briefly thought about carpet runners but really wanted to avoid applying glue, tacks, tape or nails to brand new hardwood. As such I started to look for stair tread carpets that do not require any kind of adhesive. After a few false starts and unsatisfying purchases, I found this brand and they're exactly what I'm looking for - they're the right size, comfortable underfoot, and most importantly THEY STAY PUT - the other brands I tried tended to move and shift around a lot, which was really annoying; I found myself adjusting them by hand all the time. These have a static-cling backing which really helps them stay put even under heavy foot traffic. I plan to purchase the larger landing mats as I have two landings to deal with as well. Can't recommend them enough.

After finally being able to install them, I love them! They actually stick to my hardwood floors but are easy to move if you want to. I have 3 small kids so they beat up the stairs, and these still stay on! I ended up using 2 bag of baby wipes (one on each side) to make sure they were installed uniformly. They look so good and feel nice to walk on. I feel safer walking down the stairs in socks now. 😂I was so skeptical buying these, thinking they won’t work and we’ll have to pay someone to install a runner which would put holes in my beautiful hardwood floors. Thankfully that wasn’t the case! I would 100% suggest these!

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️nice looking black/gold. These look like tapestry with gold thread, very nice pattern. So far they are staying in place with lots of footsteps up & down the stairs. Keeps stair traffic much quieter.

I needed carpet treads for my new home so my 19-year old cat could go up and down. I didn't want anything there his nails might get caught. These treads are excellent quality, beautiful to look at and my cat flies up and down the stairs no problem!

Our older dog was afraid of the stairs, and they were slippery for humans in stocking feet. They install easily, and so far (5 months) of constant use I have no complaints. The dog runs up and down when she wants, and no more slipping on the stairs. The pads still look new. I have not tried to remove them - just vacuum once a week or so.

They don’t stick, they were very expensive and poor quality

The color and the decor was exceptional. The quality was decent but wasn't machine washable as advertised.

Never thought about this to my sister told me definitely helps with stairs so you don’t slip down great product
