This is by far the most expensive olive leaf extract supplement that I've ever reviewed, and I've reviewed several. I'm not sure why this particular olive leaf extract is any better than less expensive ones. The information on the box tells me practically nothing - no percentage of oleuropein given, and that's what I look for. The higher the better. I feel that it's probably a very good and potent olive leaf extract supplement, but I would like more information about it before I shelled over $42.70 (the cost for 40 capsules as of this review). All that said, I keep olive leaf extract capsules on hand in case anyone in the family begins to show symptoms of a cold or flu. It's an absolutely excellent anti-viral and so good for health. I take one capsule everyday along with my other supplements and have yet to get sick.

Olive leaf extract is one of my favorite supplements. It is a natural virus fighter. This organic formula is packaged beautifully and is high quality. These are good to take if you suffer from canker sores in the mouth. Really helpful.

On the one hand, this product has a lot going for it. Certified organic, clinically studied, full-spectrum polyphenols (thanks to being made from a blend of olive fruit, branches, leaves, and young leaves). But I'm not sure it actually has any advantages over regular olive leaf powder. Olive leaf extract is readily available at 25% hydroxytyrosol / oleuropein. In contrast, this "olive tree powder" isn't even standardized, and only claims around 4% hydroxytyrosol. So the potency of this product is quite low compared to some others.Additionally - their clinical studies used 3000mg per day, but the serving size on the package is only 1000mg. If you were to try and match the dosage used in their research, this container would only last you about 7 days.Thoughts:It's a high quality product. Its certified organic and has published studies supporting its benefits. But the lack of transparency regarding the product specifications (hydroxytyrosol content, oleuropein, oleocanthal, etc) makes me question whether this product is really any better than your standard olive leaf extract powder. The low dose and low number of servings make this an unsustainable product. The benefits from olive polyphenols don't happen over night, or even in a matter of weeks. You need to take polyphenols for months to really see health benefits - so a 10 to 20 day supply is really not going to do much for you.

I love this all of the leaf extract for anti-aging. I took all of it and honestly felt more energized and rejuvenated while taking it. I can't speak about the anti-aging effects because I didn't take it for over a year or long term or anything. I just took it for a couple of months and I felt fine. No stomach aches. And I also thought that it is made from pure ingredients after reading all about it. So far I think it's a great product. My only complaint is that it was harder for me to pop out each pill of the container because I have long nails and I don't like pushing on things. So I would prefer to take the supplement and bottle form that's easy to unscrew a cab with long nails.

Each box looked different, and the serving size was different, but the ingredients were exactly the same, so I was confused.I contacted the company, so I could understand better what was going on here - like was it just marketing the same product for two different benefits (aging and skin) or was it actually two separate products. Here is (a small part of) what they said in their email response (which came quickly)."OLIVIE ANTI-AGE and OLIVIE DERMAPSORIA are made using components of organic USDA certified olive trees planted in a harsh desert of Morocco: leafs, baby leafs, olive fruit and olive oil. However, the percentage of each components is different in these 2 products."So, yes, it appears the dose is the same, but apparently it is different ratios of the olive tree that makes them good for different health related issues. And each the capsule do look different - one is darker.This is a family company, and they've been in the olive tree business since since 1887 (olive oil was their beginning), so they are probably just branching out into making different products. I do think this is a quality product and it does seem to be providing the benefits I'm used to with olive leaf (I've been taking it for years.)
