no, but you can use threaded 1 1/2-inch coupling (female), a 1 1/2-inch to 3/4-inch reducer, a little piece of 3/4-inch pipe and a 3/4-inch threaded coupling (male)

Where on the bottom is the anti-airlock hole, and how do I remove the impellar?

Unfortunately there is no anti-airlock on the Foting 1HP sump pump. The Manual saids it does have one but it really doesn't.

This work for pool with algae?

I just bought this and used it to drain my above ground pool. It works great. It was filled with leaves and algae and the only problem I had was keeping the liner away from the suction hole (I used chopsticks and rubber bands, worked like a charm.)

I bought this pump thinking it would work on basement floor for 2-3 in but now book says 5 1/2 in of water to start?

It will actually pump water down to .04 inches which is 4/100 of an inch! Sometimes palms may have difficulty initiating vacuum and suction with low water levels if you experience this use a 5 gallon bucket of water, drop the pump into it so that it primes and then pull it out and put it in your puddle, should work fine. I have not been able to find another pump that will suck almost all of the water up down to nearly the last drop. Also the longer the hose you used to discharge the water that it pumps, the longer it will take to pump the shorter the hose the better so use the shortest possible hose that will get the job done.
