PINION GEAR PROBLEM ....OK SPUR.....
IF YOU ARE UPGRADING TO METAL GEARS IT IS BEST TO BUY THE SPUR AND THE PINION SEPERATE. I WILL EXPLAIN WHY.....THE SPUR GEAR IN THIS SET IS GOOD QUALITY AND I WOULD BUY IT SEPERATELY. HOWEVER THE PINION IS TOO THIN AT 5MM. IT DOES NOT MESH UP CORRECTLY TO THE SPUR GEAR. HOBBYIST TOLERANCES ARE EQUAL WIDTH OR GREATER WHEN IT COMES TO PINION GEAR MESH. NOT LESS THEN EQUAL. IN CONCLUSION THE PINION GEAR SHOULD BE 6MM-7MM WIDE. PLEASE BUY THESE SEPERATELY SO YOUR SPUR GEAR DOES NOT GET DAMAGED. OR THROW AWAY THE PINION AND GET A WIDER ONE.

Just got today for my daughter so I could suprize her on her birthday today with a RC car and I cant because the spur gear teeth are chipped
