Stable connection - great upgrade from Gotcha
As an owner of the original Gotcha, a Gotcha Evolve and a Gotcha Classic, all with various disconnection issues, poor battery life and extremely awkward charging methods, the Duomon has been great so far.I've tested this device for a total of five hours of play; and it has stayed connected the entire time, only dropping once per hour for the system-mandated reconnect. Not having to touch the button on the device is very convenient. In comparison, my Gotcha Classic purchased in January 2022 had a battery life of less than two hours on one full charge, and that second hour was typically plagued by disconnects or my phone not being able to find the device at all. Even on a full charge, the Gotcha would 'idle' with the spinning connecting icon for up to 15 seconds, then fail to connect repeatedly; this device pairs and connects within five seconds each time.Autocatch/spin speeds seem to be similar to the Gotcha while stationary, however I haven't tried using the device while travelling at speed. While the AAA battery use is a little annoying, the convenience is excellent; no more having to tear a wrist strap off and deal with an awkward one-way USB connection (Evolve) or barely-magnetized clip (Classic). The device is also quite bulky relative to the Gotcha watch bands, however this issue is largely eliminated given that you simply need to switch the device on and then interact with the app alone to connect and reconnect - just stash it in your bag or pocket and forget about it. This also has the benefit of preventing sweat or rain from interfering with the device, and means you can avoid the over-sensitive touch capacitance issues of the Gotcha Classic screen (often randomly activating when wearing capacitive clothing e.g. a leather jacket). Not sure about how long it will take to drain batteries, but so far (5 hours in) no issues re: battery life.If you're using a Gotcha and plagued with connection drop-outs, a failure to connect or poor battery life, this is certainly an upgrade worth considering (alongside some rechargeable batteries or an unwatched office stationery cabinet...). After endless troubleshooting of my Gotcha Classic, having a device that works consistently and without fuss has been excellent. If I can, I'll update this review in several months with some more long-term usage reports.

Awesome product!
This is my first auto catcher. I can tell though it’s top notch and does an awesome job!Pros:I just used it for the first time during Spotlight hour and it caught around 300 Pokémon’s during that time. I just rode around and let it do its thing. It focuses on catching first and then it will spin poke stops and gyms. After a couple hours of use I have caught 3 shiny’s with it!! One while just chilling at the house! I’ve seen another review about the durability being an issue, however, this seems very durable to me and well made.Cons:The only negative I can find is it will auto disconnect after 1 hour. I wished it gave you the option to allow it to stay connected.

Very cute and works well!
It works better than the other auto catchers I tried. The plus plus is just too loud and annoying for me, on this one it can be turned to quiet mode so no loud vibrations or noises. It’s also super cute and comes with a wristband/keychain to carry around easier. I kinda wish it was rechargeable though.

Decent
Works well except it disconnects at least once an hour, sometimes more than that.

Works great
Honestly, I was skeptical about this. I've had a Gotcha and a Gotcha Evolve, and honestly I hate both of them now. The regular gotcha died for no reason. I still have the super-specific charger for it, but it just won't work. The Evolve is a bit better. It works, but the screen is busted for now reason it seems. This thing, however, is sturdy. It requires AAA batteries, but I have some that I can recharge. I've only gone through a single charge in weeks and even then I took them out prematurely. I keep a spare set in case I do happen to run out of battery life.It catches just as well as the Evolve. My only complaint is it is not so simple to use. The instructions are not very clear.I would like to be able to turn off catching and just spin, for example, and I haven't figured out how to do that yet. I will probably watch a video or something at some point. Surely it has to be an option.Short order:1. Great Battery Life2. Sturdy3. Easy to use4. No program necessary

If you love pogo get this!
It’s made spinning stops SO easy. We had watches before this and we were always having connectivity issues. We’ve been using this maybe a month now and it’s been great. Sometimes it is connected and not spinning or auto catching, but not a huge deal just have to go to the settings for it in the app and turn the button for it off and on and that should kinda like reset it and it will do what you want it todo. I’m sure if we ever shut it off when we were done using it maybe we wouldn’t have to do that lol but we just end up leaving it on and forgetting. We bought reusable batteries for it. Anyways highly recommend. We hardly ever run out of items, if we’re just running to go to town it’s so easy to just hit the connect button in the app and go. I found that if you’re driving under 40 it will still spin stops.

The device works well- no complaints with performance. But the actual product is the cheapest thinnest plastic and will break. I have bought 4 of these devices and if you drop them ONE time even on carpet the lid that holds the batteries in place will break bc it’s only held together by 3 tiny plastic prongs. The one i currently have is held together by 3 hair ties and a Bobby pin bc the battery lid broke off and the on and off switch FELL OFF. For $80-90 this is unacceptable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I only kept buying these because Pokemon Go didn’t have an updated auto catcher. Now they do and it’s CHEAPER than this. Save your money and go with the official one.
