So much joy!
I’m excited to watch it with the family. Secret of Blue Water has been a child hood favorite of mine. I still my original VHS. So to see it in Blue Ray will be a pure treat!

Beautiful
I bought Nadia years ago and was very disappointed in the picture quality of the Sentai release. Decided to go ahead and rebuy the GKids version and I'm glad that I did as the picture quality is amazingly clean compared to Sentai's version. Not much to say other than if you're disappointed like I was, then get this version as its worth it. If not, then keep the old version as that's pretty much the only reason to get this release.Pros: 1. Way better picture quality. 2. A super, super small booklet is now included with this release.Cons: 1. No beginning chapter stops as it just skips to the middle of the episode. As I person that usually skips the opening and ending credits, this was a huge letdown. 2. White subtitles as I find yellow subtitles easier to read, especially on light / white backgrounds. Nothing wrong with white subs, I just prefer yellow. 3. Still waiting on Nadia: the Motion Picture to be on blu ray.

Blue ray rescue of a classic anime
Remastered on blue ray and like a new experience. In my youth (30 years ago) I watched this on a 3rd generation VHS tapes. Clear picture and nice sound quality on this release. It's the same voice actors (english) as the vhs release. Understand this is the same audio (cleaned up) mind you as VHSso effect are old but it makes it up when you get into the story. Studio ghibli styled artwork and a clasic steampunk story. Give it a go.

Great series
While it is an older series but it's worth buying and watching. Plus it's on bluray which means it doesn't take up a lot of shelf space.

Nadia with all the good and the bad
I was a fan of Nadia back in the 90s when it came out. I remember being at the first Anime Expo and video taping (yes onto VHS) the videos when they broadcast it on the hotel TV. But anyway, this Blu-Ray set is excellent for having all the episodes. But it does highlight the problems (and age) of the series. Don't get me wrong, I get to see details I've never seen before with great resolution. But also the mistakes too. And the story and the characters etc all the things that are problems are of course still there. But if you care about the world, the ideas of the mechanics, and the main characters, then it's here in great resolution. Audio isn't the best, except the open and end songs, but good enough. If you are an old fan like me, then buy it. Also much cheaper in this set than trying to get the Japanese set.

Older but enjoyable
This was a gift that I enjoyed. I read that Hayao Miyazaki was involved and you can see it.
